Jet2 rolls out more flights to a bucket list destination with an 'abundance of natural wonders'

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have revealed their Winter 26/27 Iceland programme is now available to book, with flights departing from seven UK airports.
The leisure airline and city break operator has increased its services from Manchester and London Stansted in response to customer demand for trips to the Nordic island.
The programme marks a return of winter flights from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle airports. Bournemouth and Edinburgh will also offer special trips to Iceland.
Services will operate from October 9 to December 7, 2026, then resume from January 29 to April 12, 2027, perfectly timed for experiencing Iceland's natural wonders.

Holidaymakers will have more opportunities to visit Iceland

The airline will provide more than 170 outbound services with nearly 65,000 seats available for booking.
Travellers can choose flights during October half-term, February half-term and Easter holidays, giving families plenty of options for their Iceland adventure.
The destination offers visitors the chance to see the Northern Lights, explore the Golden Circle and relax at the Blue Lagoon. Reykjavik, the world's northernmost capital, provides a stylish city break option.
Packages start from a £60 per person deposit and include flights, 22kg luggage allowance and airport transfers. Hotels range from two to five stars in central Reykjavik, with optional excursions to the South Shore available.
Birmingham Airport will run Monday and Thursday flights from October 15 to November 23, 2026, and again from February 11 to April 12, 2027.
Bournemouth offers a single three-night trip from February 12 to 15, 2027, ideal for February half-term. Edinburgh has two special trips planned - a three-night break from October 16 to 19, 2026 and a four-night option from October 19 to 23.
Leeds Bradford operates Thursday and Sunday services across three periods, whilst Newcastle provides twice-weekly flights on Fridays and Mondays.
London Stansted significantly expands with up to four weekly flights during peak times. Manchester increases to six weekly services during holidays.
