Holidaymakers can book flights from nine UK airports

Jet2 is giving holidaymakers more time to enjoy the Greek sunshine by keeping flights to Kefalonia running until the very end of October 2026.

The airline and its holiday branch have added brand-new Saturday flights from Manchester Airport that will run throughout October, perfect for families wanting a half-term getaway.

These extra flights mean the summer season now stretches three weeks longer than originally planned, with services continuing right through to October 31.

Manchester holidaymakers will have up to six flights a week to choose from, with the service running from May 2 through to the end of October 2026.

But it's not just Manchester getting in on the action. Jet2 will be flying to Kefalonia from nine UK airports in total.

You'll be able to catch flights from Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle and London Stansted.

Whether you want to lounge on those stunning beaches or explore the island's famous vineyards, there's now loads more flexibility for booking that perfect Greek escape.

CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, Steve Heapy, said: “Kefalonia is an extremely popular holiday destination, and we are seeing continued demand from customers and independent travel agents looking to book both peak and late summer dates.

"Due to this response, we are delighted to be extending our Summer 26 season to the end of October, providing customers with the flexible holiday choices that they want.

"We are excited to provide holidaymakers with even more award-winning flights and ATOL-protected package holidays in Summer 26 and, given the appeal of the beautiful destination of Kefalonia, we are confident that this extended season will be warmly welcomed.”

This comes as Jet2 rolls out more flights to a bucket list destination with an "abundance of natural wonders".

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have revealed their Winter 26/27 Iceland programme is now available to book, with flights departing from seven UK airports.

The leisure airline and city break operator has increased its services from Manchester and London Stansted in response to customer demand for trips to the Nordic island.
