There are many reasons why Britons choose to live abroad, whether they want guaranteed sunshine, to experience a new culture or immerse themselves in a different lifestyle.
But where is the best place to relocate? New research has found the world's most popular destinations, with the UAE beating European countries.
Some 61 per cent of Britons have considered relocating, according to a survey by Ignite SEO, and the UAE was praised for having no income tax, offering a luxurious lifestyle, and being an English-speaking country. It also boasts pleasant winter temperatures, between 20°C and 29°C.
Europe dominated the remainder of the top five, with Portugal, Spain, Malta and Cyprus proving popular among expats.
