Those hoping to visit a beach may not need to go far to find one of the best beaches in the country.
Car rental company SIXT used Tripadvisor data to rank the top beaches in the UK.
Factors such as the number of cafes, car parks, water quality and visitor ratings were taken into consideration.
Mablethorpe Town Beach was voted number one

Mablethorpe Town Beach was voted in the number one spot.
The coastal destination has garnered more than 700 Tripadvisor reviews with an impressive 4.5 star rating.
Posting on the holiday review site, one visitor wrote: "A proper sandy beach with loads of sea shells to collect."
They praised the variety of places to eat and various entertainment options.
Another reviewer stated: "It's a lovely beach all round... It's a lovely open space, clean, and tidy."
One more called the location a "great beach" and described it as "magical".
They also showed their appreciation for the various food outlets available for a quick bite.
Cromer Beach and Whitley Bay followed as the second and third best beaches to visit.
Shanklin Beach, Filey Beach, Skegness Beach, Perranporth Beach and Exmouth Beach also made it into the top 10 list.
