Sky Mobile just supercharged its roaming deal for millions of customers nationwide.
It has more than doubled the number of destinations where you can use your mobile data from 55 to 120, including European destinations, the United States, and Australia. Sky Mobile doesn't impose any limits on the amount of 5G data that you can use while abroad. If your destination is eligible for roaming, you'll be able to use the same text message, call, and mobile data allowances as if you were back in the UK.
To unlock the ability to roam, you'll need to spend £2 a day on Sky Mobile's Roaming Passport Plus.

Whether you're looking to use turn-by-turn navigation via Google Maps, translate dialogue in real-time via Google Translate, stream via YouTube, or load a boarding pass for the journey home without filling out an interminable form to connect to the free airport Wi-Fi.
Unlike adding an eSIM to your handset when you land abroad, roaming with your existing mobile network means there's nothing to install, download or set up — meaning you can get online a little faster.
However, Sky Mobile will limit roaming data to a 25GB fair usage policy per billing cycle, which means you’ll be hit by additional data charges once you exceed this limit.
That's pretty standard for most mobile networks, but does that mean those with an unlimited mobile data allowance in the UK won't take that with them when holidaying abroad.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Some of the new destinations included in the 120 countries are India, Egypt, Singapore, Barbados, Jamaica, Bahamas, Morocco, Peru, Mauritius, and China.
If you find yourself needing a little extra data to explore without Wi-Fi, or for WhatsApp calls and messages, Sky Mobile will let you dip into any previously unused data stored in the Sky Piggybank for a boost.
This feature lets you keep unused data at the end of each month in the Sky Piggybank for up to a year. Not only can this 5G data be used in the UK when you're in a pinch, but it's now available in the 120 roaming destinations with Roaming Passport Plus.
Sky Mobile is a so-called Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), meaning that it doesn't own any masts itself, but piggybacks on existing infrastructure from one of the big four mobile networks in the UK.
Since it relies on Virgin Media O2's nationwide masts, if you get a decent signal with O2, then you'll experience the same with Sky Mobile.
The incoming Monzo Mobile, which will be exclusive to customers who have a current account with the digital bank, also piggybacks on Virgin Media O2. Unlike most mobile networks, Monzo is promising to lower monthly bills each year for the first six years of your eSIM contract.
