In need of an upgrade to your broadband? You might've timed this perfectly.
That's because Sky just slashed its broadband prices to a record low — including its Full-Fibre 150 for £24/month, Full-Fibre 500 for £28/month, and Full-Fibre 900 for £33/month. If you subscribe to Full-Fibre 150, that equates to you only paying about 80p per day.
According to Broadband Genie, you can save £183.60 a year by regularly switching providers.
When you sign up for a broadband deal, you'll typically agree to stick with the same provider for a minimum contract term, usually 24 months. Most UK broadband providers increase your monthly costs each year, which means the longer you're with the same supplier, the more you'll be paying for the same service and speeds.
While you can't do anything about it during that initial contract term, you should move to a new deal — or provider — the moment that you're considered "out of contract" and able to switch without any exit fees. Plus, Ofcom reports that 25,000 customers come to the end of their broadband contracts every day.
The average out-of-contract customer pays nearly £31 per month in broadband bills. If you're one of them, then the timing couldn't be better to switch. You have a limited time to take advantage of these packages at a fraction of the price.

If you want to enjoy the biggest savings on your monthly broadband bills, look no further than Sky Broadband's Full-Fibre 150 package. That's quite a bit slower than the 285Mbps average household broadband speed recorded nationwide by Ofcom, but given that you only need 5Mbps to stream your favourite Netflix show in 1080p HD... it should be plenty for quieter homes. Available in around 60% of UK homes, this speedy Sky package includes a minimum download speed. If missed, you can leave your broadband contract early with no early termination charges

If you're hesitant about the potential hassle of switching providers, don't worry. Sky will pay you up to £300 to take care of any leaving fees. Paid to you in the form of a credit, you can put this towards your future monthly bills.
Broadband providers also regularly save their best deals for new subscribers, with loyalty rarely rewarded.
Even if you're happy with the level of service from the current provider, most broadband firms increase bills every year. It's still worth switching to cut monthly bills or unlock faster speeds for the same cost.

Need a bit more speed than what a Full Fibre 145 broadband package can supply? Sky has just dropped the price of its Full Fibre 500 to its lowest ever — the same price as its Full Fibre 300 offer. These high-performance speeds are great for busier homes and can handle multiple simultaneous 4K streams, lag-free gaming, fast 100GB+ file downloads, and robust remote working

Full Fibre 500 is available in 60% of UK homes. Sky relies on BT-owned Openreach to connect customers to its broadband. You'll need to live in an area that's been upgraded to the latest fibre infrastructure. Ofcom recorded the average home broadband speed in the UK was 223Mbps last year, which means Sky's Full Fibre 500 bundle is 2x faster than the average household connection.
Openreach is currently ploughing ahead with an ambitious goal to upgrade 25 million premises to full-fibre broadband by December 2026. Earlier last year, the BT-owned firm revealed 17 million homes had been successfully upgraded to the speediest full-fibre internet connection. These next-generation connections offer download speeds up to 1,600Mbps.
However, if you need even faster speeds in your house, a full-fibre 900 package may be a better fit.
These eye-watering download speeds are particularly well-suited for large, device-heavy households, competitive gaming, content creation, and seamless 4K/8K streaming for dozens of devices per month.

If full-fibre 500 speeds still aren't enough for your busy household, Sky has also marked down its full-fibre 900 down to its lowest ever price. These super-fast download speeds are particularly well-suited for large, device-heavy households, competitive gaming, content creation, and seamless 4K/8K streaming for dozens of devices per month.
