Generous giveaway also applies to the Galaxy Z Flip 7

Samsung's latest foldables — Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 — are now available on store shelves across the UK.

These cutting-edge Android handsets were announced earlier this month, with faster internals to enable new AI tricks, improved cameras, and larger screens on the inside and out. Those fancy new extras have added an extra $100 to the price tag in the United States, but Samsung fans living in Blighty can upgrade to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Flip 7 for the same price as the last round of foldable phones announced last summer.

You can pocket a Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Galaxy Z Flip 7 from the Samsung Store, including via its new Galaxy Club — a new way to spread out the cost of these handsets. It also offers annual upgrades, Samsung Care+ hardware protection, and exclusive rewards for you — as well as your friends and family.

Outside of the Samsung Store, the biggest UK mobile networks have launched offers on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, including EE, Vodafone, Three UK, Sky Mobile, O2, and many more. There's no shortage of deals available from these networks, including discounts when you trade-in, free gifts, and more.

No matter where you decide to buy the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Galaxy Z Flip 7, you'll be treated to a free gift worth £113 that Android users would otherwise have to pay for. Yes, really.

Missed the announcement of the all-new foldable handsets from Samsung? Here's everything you need to know about the successors to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 released last summer.

In a nutshell, both of these foldables land with much bigger screens and faster performance into thinner, lighter designs. For exampe, despite being equipped with twice as many screens, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 now weighs less than an iPhone 16 Pro Max, while the Flip 7 remains as pocket-friendly as ever despite sporting two edge-to-edge displays.

Here’s everything you need to know about each handset — from hardware highlights to camera capabilities.

SAMSUNG PRESS OFFICE

Galaxy Z Fold 7

Samsung’s latest generation of foldable squeezes big-screen power into a design that’s almost indistinguishable from a standard smartphone. At just 8.9 mm when folded, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro Max (8.25 mm) and only marginally thicker than the Galaxy S25 Ultra (8.2 mm). Compare that to the original Galaxy Fold at 15.7 mm or last year’s Z Fold 6 at 12.1 mm — the progress of the R&D dept. inside Samsung is staggering.

  • 8 inch Dynamic AMOLED main display (11% larger than earlier models), protected by ultra-thin glass that’s now 50 percent thicker, all-but eliminating the unsightly crease.
  • 6.5 inch cover display, wider with a 21:9 aspect ratio, making typing more natural and closer to a traditional smartphone experience.
  • Both screens boast up to 2,600 nits peak brightness, ensuring outdoor visibility even in direct sunlight.

Between the thinner case and larger 21:9 AMOLED cover display, using the exterior touchscreen should feel closer to a regular smartphone than ever before. Unfolding to the tablet-like screen becomes an optional treat for watching video, gaming, or multitasking — rather than a necessity.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy system-on-a-chip, the Z Fold 7 delivers faster performance and seamless multitasking. At 215g, it’s even lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Photography is almost indistinguishable from Samsung’s top tier. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 features the same 200 MP main camera as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with Samsung’s next-generation ProVisual Engine processing images and video faster. AI automatically optimises for lighting and scene, then Photo Assist lets you move, erase, or enlarge objects, adjust angles, and compare original versus edited shots side-by-side.

Out-of-the-box, the Fold 7 runs One UI 8 on Android 16, packed with Galaxy AI and Google Gemini Live. Gemini can see what’s on your screen — from booking confirmations to photos — and you can ask it to add events to your calendar or generate responses without leaving the app.

Samsung UK and Ireland Mobile Experience Vice President of Product and Marketing, Annika Bizon said: "We’re entering into a new era of smartphone innovation. As AI becomes the new UI, people need devices that learn, understand and anticipates their needs. The new Galaxy Z Fold 7 combines powerful hardware with Galaxy AI in an ultra thin and ultra sleek form factor – supporting people to get things done in previously unimaginable ways."

Galaxy Z Flip 7

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 stays true to its roots — a pocket-friendly foldable that packs flagship power and AI tricks into an ultra-compact design. At 13.7 mm when folded, it’s the thinnest Flip Samsung has ever launched, and at 188g, it weighs about the same as a bar of Cadbury’s Fruit & Nut.

  • 4.1 inch FlexWindow, expanded from 3.4 inches, stretched to the very edge with a 1.25 mm border wrapping around the dual-camera housing.
  • Supports 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits peak brightness, making it as fluid and vivid as the interior screen.
  • 6.9 inch AMOLED main display (21:9 aspect ratio) with 120 Hz and 2,600 nits, ideal for typing and scrolling.

Even if you never flip the phone open, the FlexWindow delivers a top-tier experience for browsing photos, replying to texts, checking the weather, or glancing at headlines. Google Gemini and Samsung AI tools live here too: pull up boarding passes, schedule reminders, or check football scores using voice commands. The Now Bar shows real-time updates — from podcast progress to Uber ETAs and song info.

Under the hood sits the Exynos 2500, built on a 3 nm process. Though it forgoes the Snapdragon 8 Elite, it still unlocks Samsung DeX, letting you plug into a monitor for PC-like multitasking. The 4,300 mAh battery (up 300 mAh) delivers up to 31 hours of video playback.

Pricing & Availability

  • £1,049 for 12 GB RAM + 256 GB
  • £1,149 for 12 GB + 512 GB
  • Colours: Blue Shadow, Jetblack, Coralred, and Mint — exclusive to Samsung Store

Whether you choose the expansive canvas of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or the nostalgic flippable design of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Samsung’s latest foldables deliver bigger screens, smarter AI, and designs that push the category further than ever.
