Samsung unveiled its latest generation of foldables at a major Galaxy Unpacked event in New York City yesterday. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 were announced with faster internals to enable new AI tricks, improved cameras, and bigger screens inside and out.
While Samsung fans living in the US must stomach a $100 price hike for the new Galaxy Z Fold 7, the price tags in the UK remain unchanged compared to the last round of foldable phones announced last summer. Phew.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are the first generation of foldables to launch with an entirely way to purchase from the Samsung Store. It's called Galaxy Club and it made its debut in the UK with the release of the Galaxy S25, S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in January. Samsung later added its slimline Galaxy S25 Edge, which launched at a later date.
Galaxy Club is an exclusive upgrade and rewards scheme created with the most loyal Samsung fans in mind. Buying a new handset via Galaxy Club unlocks flexible finance options — so you won't need to splurge on a new Galaxy Z handset in one lump sum, as well as annual upgrades, Samsung Care+ hardware protection, and exclusive rewards.
One of the standout features of Galaxy Club is an introductory offer for early adopters. Samsung is offering £50 off any Samsung smartphone worth over £150 if you place an order before September 30, 2025. If you're eyeballing one of the new foldables announced by Samsung this week, with prices starting from £1,049, you'll qualify for this discount.
Better yet, it can be paired with existing offers — Samsung will already double the built-in storage included with your new Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Galaxy Z Flip 7 when you order before the UK release date on July 25, 2025.
This works out at a £100 discount across both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.

Galaxy Club will let you spread the cost of your new Samsung device over the next 24-months with 0% interest and just a 10% upfront deposit. If you're used to buying your phones on a pay monthly deal from mobile networks like EE, O2, or Vodafone, Galaxy Club is going to be pretty familiar. You'll pay off the cost of your handset over two years... but you can keep your existing SIM-only deal, or switch to a cheap rolling one-month plan.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 starts from £1,049. If you decide to upgrade via Galaxy Club, monthly repayments start from £29.14 over a 36-month contract, with the option to switch to whatever comes next from Samsung in July 2026.
Likewise, Galaxy Z Fold 7 costs £1,799. Switch to the Galaxy Club, and monthly repayments start from £49.98 over a 36-month contract, with the option to upgrade to a new model next summer.
But this isn't just an interest-free payment plan — those were already available when buying from the Samsung Store.
Samsung has also thrown-in exclusive perks, like an allowance to put towards accessories for your new Galaxy phone, discount codes for friends and family to spend at the Samsung Store, and insurance. When you decide to upgrade between 12-15 months into your credit agreement, you'll receive a guarantee of 50% return of the overall value of your device, making it significantly more affordable to stay current with the latest Galaxy technology.

Samsung will also credit your Galaxy Club account with three £50 vouchers to send to friends and family. These can be redeemed at Samsung.com on anything sold on the store, not just smartphones.
If you suffer from chronic butter-fingers, Samsung offers Galaxy Club members the option to add two-years of its Samsung Care+ Accidental Damage Cover worth £179 at checkout with the monthly plan. Of course, your brand-new Samsung device will arrive with a hardware warranty for the first year, but Care+ expands on this by including protection against accidental damage, like a cracked screen or liquid damage, as well as mechanical breakdowns outside of the standard warranty. Samsung engineers will repair your device with genuine parts.
If they're unable to fix the issue, you'll be send a replacement of the exact model.

Samsung has shaved 15% off the borders around the displays to shrink the footprint of these new smartphones. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Edge has the thinnest design of any new Samsung phone — at just 5.8mm
