Samsung has unmasked the successors to its Galaxy A series lineup — the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37.
The Galaxy A series are entry-level models that still have built-in premium features at a more budget-friendly price point. The A57 is slightly thinner and lighter than the A37, and comes with slightly more enhanced features.
“The new Galaxy A series reflects our continued commitment to AI democratisation by bringing the latest innovations to more Galaxy users,” said TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer of Samsung.
Both of these mobiles come equipped with a slew of Artificial Intelligence (AI) features, improved camera capabilities, ultra-fast charging speeds, and more.
The unveiling arrives just weeks after the Korean tech firm released its new flagship Galaxy S26 series and the Galaxy Buds 4.
Here's everything you need to know about these two new models.

Both handsets come packed with what Samsung calls "Awesome Intelligence" – essentially a suite of AI tools designed to make everyday tasks simpler.
"Getting AI into the hands of more people matters just as much as pushing the boundaries of what it can do," said Annika Bizon, VP of Product and Marketing at Samsung's Mobile Experience Division.
So what exactly can these AI features do for you? For starters, it offers Voice Transcription — a handy new addition to the Voice Recorder app. It's designed to turn your meeting recordings, lectures, or voicemails into text you can read back later. This is helpful if you didn't take any notes or need to refresh your memory on any important details.
You'll be treated to Bixby – the built-in assistant designed by Samsung, which sits alongside Google's Gemini and Perplexity as AI offerings for Galaxy owners — can also make adjustments to settings. You don't need to know what the toggle is called, since it responds to natural language requests.
Bixby will make the necessary tweaks in response to a specific problem that you're having. For example, if you complain to the chatty AI assistant that the text on-screen is too small, Bixby will make adjustments behind-the-scenes, without you having to dive into the Settings app.

Love taking photos but hate editing? There's a nifty tool called Object Eraser, which lets you remove unwanted bits from your pictures. This could range from a tree in your landscape shot to other people found in the background.
Circle to Search with Google has been upgraded too, now recognising multiple items in a single image. This can be especially helpful if you take a photo of an outfit and want to shop the full look. It can pull up stores with recommendations and different price points.
The A57 comes with an extra trick called Best Face, which helps you nail group shots where everyone actually looks good.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
When it comes to the camera setup, you're getting a triple-lens system on both phones. The star of the show is a 50MP main sensor that captures sharp, detailed shots across different lighting conditions.
Low-light photography also gets a boost with improved Nightography, so your evening snaps should come out clearer and more true-to-life.
The A57 takes things further with enhanced image processing that sharpens details and cuts down on noise, giving you more vibrant results even when the lighting's tricky.
Both phones use AI-based subject recognition to balance your portraits — designed to keep skin tones looking natural, and separate backgrounds more cleanly.
You'll also find an ultra-wide lens for group shots and landscapes, plus a 5MP macro camera for capturing tiny details up close.

If you're worried about battery life, the A57 packs a 5,000mAh cell that Samsung says can last up to two days on a single charge. That's enough juice for filming, editing, and watching content on the go.
And if you need a quick top-up before heading out, Super Fast Charging 2.0 can get you up to 60% battery life in roughly half an hour.
Both phones carry an IP68 rating, meaning they can handle dust and water – handy if you're prone to the occasional splash or caught in British weather.
The A57 also features a 13% larger vapour chamber to keep your device cool during gaming sessions.
If you fancy the A57, you can pick it up in the shades Awesome Navy, Grey, Icyblue, or Lilac. The A37 comes in Lavender, Charcoal, Greygreen, and White.
The A37 will release at a price point of £399 for 128GB or £459 for 256GB, whereas the A57 runs from £529 for 256GB, jumping to £699 if you want the 512GB version.
Both models are available for preorder now and will officially begin shipping on April 10.
