You can preorder the new Bluetooth 'buds now

Samsung has just unveiled its latest wireless earbuds at its annual Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, alongside the Galaxy S26 flagship series.

Meet the Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Buds4 — designed with a speaker system boost, active noise cancellation, new Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, and more.

Here's everything you need to know about the new arrival of these feature-rich earbuds.

Pre-order the Galaxy Buds4 Series from Samsung

You can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Buds4 today — officially shipping on March 11. Both earbuds boast richer sound thanks to a larger woofer and smarter adaptive noise cancelling. A new ergonomic “blade design” promises a more secure fit, while AI features, head-gesture controls and upgraded call quality make these sleek earbuds a great option for an upgrade. The Buds4 cost £159, while the Buds4 Pro is priced at £219

For starters, Buds4 Pro pack a wider woofer, built to give you nearly 20% more speaker area than before. That means richer bass and cleaner treble without making the earbuds appear bulky.

The company achieved this by analysing data from hundreds of millions of ears worldwide and ran more than 10,000 computer simulations to create what they're calling the "blade design."

The result helped them to create a sleeker, more ergonomic shape with smaller earbud heads that are meant to sit more securely in your ear canal. You'll also notice a premium metal finish and an engraved pinch control area, making it much easier to find and adjust your settings by touch.

There's also a new transparent clamshell charging case, with an overhauled design — showing off the refined blade design, while also in charge of keeping the buds' storage and charging simple.

Both versions have gotten a noise-cancelling upgrade, too. Samsung's enhanced Active Noise Cancellation blocks out everything from rumbling train engines to chatty café crowds, adjusting automatically as your surroundings change. This is similar to Apple's AirPods Pro 3.

The really clever bit? It's built-in adaptive system analyses your unique ear shape and how you're wearing the buds, then applies the best noise-cancelling settings in real time.

When you take a call, one of its newest features, dubbed Super Clear Call, helps keep your voice crystal clear during conversations.

Samsung also says it delivers double the bandwidth of standard Bluetooth calls — responsible for faster connection speeds and clearer audio. For example, if you're at a noisy football match, you're meant to sound like you're chatting face-to-face.

Both versions of the earbuds last up to 30 hours with the charging case. Without the case, you can listen to music on Buds4 Pro for up to seven hours, or six hours for the Buds4

In terms of implementing AI tools, Samsung has thought of this, too.

For instance, you can summon AI assistants like Google Gemini using just your voice, keeping your hands free and your phone in your pocket. The Buds4 Pro even let you control calls and chat with Samsung's own AI assistant Bixby through head gestures – just nod or shake your head to respond.

In terms of battery life, both versions of the earbuds last up to 30 hours with the charging case. Without the case, you can listen to music on Buds4 Pro for up to seven hours, or six hours for the Buds4.

The Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Buds4 come in White and Black with a matte finish, plus there's an online-exclusive Pink Gold option for the Pro model.

You can preorder these earbuds today, with them officially hitting shelves on March 11.
