If you're looking to take your lawn care to the next level, Roborock has just unveiled three brand-new robotic mowers: the RockMow Z1, RockMow S1, and RockNeo Q1.
Gone are the days when you'll need to be pushing a traditional mower across your lawn, as all three of these models work without the need for you to intervene.
Roborock robot vacuum cleaners and mops start from £199
Roborock is the brand behind some of the bestselling robot vacuum cleaners on store shelves, offering 10,000Pa in suction power, a dual-motion anti-tangle system in the rollers, and LiDAR for precision navigation around your home and furniture (that's the same technology used by NASA to ensure a safe landings on the Moon and Mars)
If you're unfamiliar with Roborock, it's a Chinese consumer electronics company founded in July 2014. The company specialises in smart home appliances and is known for building robotic vacuum cleaners and mops that clean floors with powerful suction, advanced navigation, and app control.
And now, the brand is taking that foundation and applying it to three all-new lawnmowers.
From everyday lawn maintenance to unruly overgrown spots that offer more difficult challenges, all three mowers arrive equipped with their own special features to tackle lawns tailored to your specific needs.
RockMow Z1
The RockMow Z1 has enough power to climb up steep slopes of up to 80% and clear obstacles up to 6 cm, like small curbs, tiny rocks, and debris

Built to tackle virtually any lawn, the RockMow Z1 is designed with AWD technology, meaning all-wheel drive systems that replicate a car to give each wheel its own motor for enhanced manoeuvrability.
This lawnmower has enough power to climb up steep slopes of up to 80% and clear obstacles up to 6 cm, like small curbs, tiny rocks, and debris. They can also detect your pets, or even plants from your garden.
It also incorporates an Active Steering System, which electronically adjusts a vehicle's steering angle, adding or subtracting a small steering input based on the mower's needs to cut your grass.
On top of that, each one of the front wheels has an independent steering motor, enabling it to tackle turns with ease and avoid slipping when on those steep slopes. The mower is also designed with a Dynamic Suspension System, which ensures an even cut each time.
Created with efficiency in mind, the battery life can cover up to 5000㎡ hours per 24 hours.
Plus, if you only want a select area of your lawn mowed, you can create a custom pattern for the mower to follow, all within Roborock's mobile app.
RockMow S1
The RockMow S1 features two-wheel drive, a drivetrain system where the engine's power is sent to only two of the four wheels simultaneously

Designed to be a more premium model just like the RockMow Z1, the RockMow S1 features two-wheel drive, which means it has a drivetrain system where the engine's power is sent to only two of the four wheels simultaneously, either the front or rear pair, allowing the other two wheels to simply roll for momentum.
It also has AI-powered smart mapping, so you only need to input minimal instructions on the app before it's ready to tackle your lawn.
It's built with a Sentisphere AI Environmental Perception, which ensures evenly cut grass even in shaded or obstructed areas
The machine also features a 3cm edge-cutting capability, which reduces the need for manual trimming time.
It can navigate through passages as narrow as 0.7 m, so you don't need to squeeze through yourself.
Similar to the RockMoz Z1, it has an Adaptive Terrain Traversal System that handles slopes up to 45%, uneven ground, and vertical obstacles up to 4 cm. It can also detect your pets or plants.
In terms of battery, it covers up to 1,000㎡ per 24 hours, minimising downtime so you can enjoy more time outdoors.
RockNeo Q1
The RockNeo Q1 is equipped with AI-powered smart mapping, allowing it to efficiently scan and map your entire lawn for precise coverage

The RockNeo Q1 is a strong choice for smaller lawns, offering a balance of advanced features and user-friendly performance.
Like its higher-end siblings, it’s equipped with AI-powered smart mapping, allowing it to efficiently scan and map your entire lawn for precise coverage. With Sentisphere AI Environmental Perception, the Q1 can detect and navigate around obstacles, minimising interruptions while ensuring a safe mowing experience.
For precision, it delivers 3 cm edge-cutting capability, leaving your lawn with crisp, clean borders. The Wildlife-Friendly mode prevents mowing at night to protect nocturnal animals, while its Intelligent Lawn Care Scheduling feature suggests tailored mowing plans for different zones of your lawn.
Despite being compact, the RockNeo Q1 is built for performance—it can easily manage slopes up to 45% and climb over vertical obstacles up to 4 cm, making it a dependable partner for diverse terrains.
All three lawnmowers are set to be available for purchase next year. Prices have not yet been confirmed yet.
