Ultrahuman has unveiled its latest smart ring — and it’s taking direct aim at the Oura Ring 4.
Meet the Ring Pro.
This is the India-based company’s third-generation wearable, boasting a battery that lasts up to 15 days on a single charge, a lightweight metallic design, and tailored health recommendations based on your data.
Unlike similar health-focused devices from Fitbit, Samsung, or Apple with a touchscreen display, smart rings are designed to be more discreet while being able to provide similar monitoring capabilities.
Here's everything you need to know about this new wearable, and how it stacks up against the popular Oura Ring 4.
Preorder the Ring Pro from Ultrahuman

The Ultrahuman Ring Pro is the India-based company’s latest smart ring, designed to track key health metrics including sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability and temperature trends. The lightweight titanium wearable promises up to 15 days of battery life and delivers personalised insights through the Ultrahuman app.
Not sure which size will fit best? You can also order a complimentary sizing kit, allowing you to find the correct ring fit before the device is shipped.

The Oura Ring 4 blends premium style with advanced health tracking. Its sleek metal finish feels durable and modern, making it easy to wear day and night. It monitors sleep stages, heart rate, activity, and readiness with impressive accuracy, while offering up to a week of battery life. It's an ideal choice if you want detailed insights without the bulky tech on your wrist.
You can select from both the metallic shades and ceramic designs. If you want a gold ring, like the Ultrahuman Ring Pro, you'll need to spend a little more, with prices from £499. It's also available in a wider range of sizes — now extending from size 4 to size 15.

For starters, both rings track the essentials you'd expect — heart rate, sleep quality, and temperature trends. The Ring Pro adds a redesigned heart-rate sensor for improved accuracy during sleep, while Oura's 18-path sensor system continuously measures heart rate variability and sleep stages throughout the day and night.
You'll find extra features on both sides. Ultrahuman also provides tools for tracking caffeine timing, GLP-1 medication effects, and ovulation, with a claimed 90% accuracy.
You'll also get access to Jade, which Ultrahuman describes as the world's first real-time biointelligence Artificial Intelligence (AI). Unlike standard AI assistants that simply look at your past health data, Jade is built to take action — think starting breathing exercises or triggering heart rhythm checks based on its findings.
Oura counters with automatic activity detection covering 40-plus exercises, plus stress monitoring that shows how your daily habits affect recovery.
It's also testing upcoming health features to add to its library of offerings.

The Ring Pro has a battery life of 15 days on a single charge. That's nearly twice that of the Oura Ring 4, which has been said to only hold a charge for up to eight days

The Ring Pro has a battery life of 15 days on a single charge. That's nearly twice that of the Oura Ring 4, which has been said to only hold a charge for up to eight days. If you rely on consistent health data — especially sleep tracking — longer battery life means fewer interruptions and more reliable long-term insights as you wear it.
"Ring Pro's battery life is 3 to 4 times that of the competition. It's a fundamental breakthrough," said Mohit Kumar, Ultrahuman's CEO.
Ultrahuman's Pro Charging Case holds up to 45 days of power and stores a full year of your health data. It even has a built-in speaker to help you find it if it goes missing.
Oura recently released a new charging accessory, giving you up to five full charges.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Both rings use titanium construction for durability. The Ring Pro comes in four metallic finishes and sizes 5 to 14, while Oura offers six metallic colour options and a ceramic finish range with the widest size range on the market – from size 4 to 15.
In terms of cost, this is where you'll see key differences.
Oura charges differently for its finishes, ranging from a starting price of £349 for silver and going up to £499 for its gold. The Ring Pro charges a standard of £419 across all finishes — including gold.
Each brand also uses its own dedicated app to track your health at varying costs.

In the Ultrahuman app, data from the Ultrahuman Ring Pro is translated into several key health scores and insights. The app tracks metrics such as heart rate, heart-rate variability (HRV), sleep stages, body temperature trends and daily movement.
These are organised into dashboards like Sleep Index, Dynamic Recovery, Stress Rhythm, and Movement Index, which show how well your body is resting, recovering and responding to daily activity. The app then provides personalised recommendations—such as when to rest, exercise or adjust routines—based on those biometric patterns and long-term health trends.
The app is free to use for all core functions. However, you can select optional paid add-ons ranging from £2.90 to £4.90 per month. They include:
- Respiratory or snoring analysis
- Cycle and ovulation tracking
- Cardio adaptability features

You can track your fitness and health with the use of the Ultrahuman app, which is free to use. You can add premium add-ons ranging from £2.90 to £4.90 per month

The Oura app is what will let you see and monitor all of your activity. There are two different versions — free or paid (£5.99). To really be able to see all of your data and take full advantage of what your ring can do, it may be worth the additional monthly cost.
The free version of the app will only give you access to basic sleep activity and minimal data on daily activity, so you won't be able to access the new features without the paid subscription, as mentioned above.
A paid membership will also give you access to the following:
- Blood oxygen sensing
- Temperature monitoring
- Activity goals and automatic detection
- Weekly, monthly, and yearly reports
- Women's Health insights (cycle and pregnancy tracking)
If you want to get your hands on the Ring Pro, it will begin shipping in the UK on April 30, 2026.
