The new flagship was originally expected to release in February

  • Motorola just launched its Motorola Signature in the UK
  • The sleek Android handset was due to release next month
  • But the US brand is taking orders weeks ahead of schedule
  • Motorola Signature is an ultra-thin mobile with four 50MP cameras
  • Despite the lightweight design, it's built with military-grade durability
  • Motorola says its battery will last up to 52 hours on a single charge
  • For limited time, Motorola will bundle £220 in freebies with each order

Motorola has launched its newest flagship Android device, the Motorola Signature. The US company describes the handset as the "most complete and refined product of this form factor that we've ever designed."

While Motorola is best associated with the boom of early mobile phones, with its iconic flip phones and "Hello Moto" ringtones, the brand has enjoyed renewed success in recent years with a lineup of Android devices. Inside the box of its new Signature handset, you'll find an ultra-thin chassis with enough space for four 50MP cameras arranged like a hob on your oven, military-grade durability, and enough battery to last for 52 hours on a single charge.

Originally set to launch in the UK this February, the Motorola Signature is now available ahead of schedule on Motorola’s online store. Here's everything you can expect to find from this new mobile.

First, you'll immediately notice how incredibly slim this phone is.

It's built to be just 6.99mm thick, which is rumoured to be the same width as the highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S26. Although it's still slightly thicker than the Apple iPhone Air — measuring 5.6mm.

In terms of build, Motorola has used aircraft-grade aluminium for the frame – that's the same tough, lightweight material you'd find in aeroplanes. This phone meets military-grade standards (MIL-STD-810H), meaning it's meant to handle extreme temperatures and high altitudes. It also comes with the industry-standard IP69 ratings, which means it's protected against dust, dirt and even high-pressure water.

One of its more noteworthy features is the cameras. It's designed with four 50MP cameras – similar to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. The main sensor uses Sony's LYTIA 828 technology, which is Motorola's largest 50MP sensor to date. You can shoot cinema-quality videos in Dolby Vision and even record in 8K resolution.

There's also a built-in periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Plus, if you want to capture every detail from afar, the 100x Super Zoom Pro feature, powered by Moto AI, lets you snap distant landmarks with high-quality clarity.

The ultrawide lens gives you a massive 122-degree field of view, perfect for landscapes, and doubles as a macro camera for close-up shots.

Under the bonnet, you're getting Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. This 3nm chip delivers speeds up to 3.8GHz, meaning everything from gaming to everyday tasks feels incredibly smooth. The Signature also comes packed with Moto AI technology, which can be found in other models like the Razr and Edge Series.

Moto AI enhances your photos automatically and helps with voice assistance, all processed directly on the device.

Looking at runtime, the 5200mAh silicon-carbon battery keeps going for up to 52 hours, and when you do need a top-up, its 90W TurboPower charger can give you a full day's power in just seven minutes. This is several hours longer than Honor's Magic 8 Pro, which was only just released a few weeks ago.

The new mobile arrives in two Pantone-curated colours: Martini Olive with a twill-inspired texture, or Carbon in a linen-inspired finish. Like other Android devices, Motorola is offering up to seven years of Android OS upgrades and security updates.

Later this year, you can also expect to gain access to Motorola's on-demand white-glove assistance, offering exclusive experiences in travel, dining and events.
