Virgin Media will also pay you to switch from a rival to its broadband

When it comes to Black Friday deals, it's very tough to top "free".

As such, Virgin Media might have one of the most compelling offers for the blockbuster annual sale. Yes, the telecom is offering up to three months of free superfast broadband ahead of Black Friday, which falls on November 28.

It's true. You won't see any money leave your current account to cover broadband until 2026 rolls around. The award-winning firm has introduced this Black Friday giveaway across its popular M350, speedy M500, Gig1 broadband plans, so you can unlock the best coverage for you.

If you've completed the minimum contract term with your current broadband supplier, you can switch to a new deal at any time. Better yet, you don't even need to tell your existing provider that you're leaving or negotiate a final payment — everything is handled by the new brand.

But if you're still locked into a contract with another provider, Virgin Media will also give you up to £200 to cover the cost of any early termination fees. However, you'll need to claim within 60 days of activating your service.

Following its decision to overhaul everything in its online store last month, Virgin Media became the first telecom brand to offer a complementary Netflix subscription with a broadband-only plan. While Sky bundles this streamer with all of its TV bundles, it's not included with its broadband deals.

You'll be able to watch everything included in the catalogue with a free Netflix Standard with Ads subscription worth £5.99 a month. That's on top of the free broadband offer available this Black Friday.

You'll be able to sign in across your devices, including a smartphone or Smart TV, to watch at home or when you're on-the-move. If you already have an existing Netflix subscription, it's possible to transfer all of your viewing history, preferences, and ratings across to the new (free) account from Virgin.

If you're looking to take advantage of these deals, you have until 11:59pm December 10, 2025.

Virgin Media Gig1 Max
$84.99 $0

Gig1 offers some of the fastest download speeds around, with hyperfast average download speeds of 1,130 Mbps. That's 5x faster than the average household broadband speed, as recorded by Ofcom this year (223Mbps).

That's ideal for busy households — or smaller households with dozens of cameras, video doorbells, smart speakers, and other gadgets — who want to be able to stream in the highest quality, download large files, backup their data to the cloud, and make video calls without a hint of buffering.

With Gig1, you'll be treated to the latest Wi-Fi router hardware from Virgin Media, even better than the model slowly being rolled-out to long-term customers as a free upgrade at the moment, as well as Virgin Media’s Wi-Fi guarantee, which offers a minimum of 30Mbps in every room or a £100 bill credit.

Switch to Virgin Media's M350 cinema HD + Netflix and pay £0 until next year

Virgin Media's M350 lets you unlock download speeds of 362Mbps, well-suited for a large household with over 10 connected devices, including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and gaming consoles. You'll get over 200 channels, including Sky Cinema HD. Plus, you'll be treated to a Netflix subscription worth £5.99 too

$33 $0

If you don't need quite all that speed that you can get with Gig1, you can still connect over 10 devices with Virgin Media's M350 plan. It suits well for large families and allows you to pair up your smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and gaming consoles.

Plus, you'll be connected to over 200 TV channels, so there's something for everyone to watch. Depending on your viewing preferences, there are a few different M350 packages to choose from:

While the entertainment package just gives you access to over 200 channels, M350 Cinema offers new and exclusive movies such as Gladiator II, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and Wicked. On the other hand, M350 Sport gives you access to Sky Sport so you can watch Premier League football, Formula 1, cricket, and more.
If you need slightly more speed than the M350 packages, Virgin Media also offers an M500 package with download speeds of 516Mbps. This allows simultaneous 4K streaming, online gaming, video calls, and working from home without lag.
