Virgin Media has refreshed all of its subscription plans across television and broadband. The dramatic overhaul will impact new subscribers today, but will take a little longer to roll out to existing Virgin Media viewers.
With the latest shake-up, Virgin Media will include a Netflix Standard with Ads (worth £5.99 a month) subscription at no extra cost with all TV and broadband packages.
If you're paying for a broadband plan from Virgin Media with speeds over M500, it'll throw in a Netflix Standard with Ads plan too. That makes Virgin Media the only telecom to offer free Netflix with a broadband-only package.
Virgin Media has also bolstered the minimum broadband speed included with any of its bundles. From today, you won't be able to sign up for a broadband and telly package with download speeds slower than 264Mbps.

That speed should be plenty to stream across multiple devices in a busy household. For context, Netflix only requires 5Mbps to stream in 1080p High Definition.
You'll also enjoy a minimum of 25Mbps upload speed, which is crucial when it comes to backing up data to the cloud, making video calls, or uploading to social media.
As well as faster broadband and Netflix Standard with Ads included with all plans, Virgin Media is now offering Sky channels in HD as standard — ditching the optional £7 extra cost that it used to charge for sharper picture quality when watching live sports fixtures or blockbuster movies.
If you want to upgrade to the top-of-the-line Ultra HD picture quality with Sky TV, that still costs £7 a month.
The updated bundles are called Entertainment, Sport, Cinema, Sport & Cinema, and Max Volt.

All Virgin Media customers get Essential Security included as standard, which helps to identify scam websites and warn them before their devices may be exposed to anything malicious.
Following the merger between Virgin Media and O2 back in June 2021, anyone who signs up for Virgin Media will be eligible for O2 Priority.
As standard, Virgin Media will send you one of its compact Flex set-top boxes to stream terrestrial channels, on-demand boxsets, and catch-up telly from the likes of BBC iPlayer, ITVX, and others
