You can stock up on new mattress toppers, protectors, pillows, and more

Winter is the season of staying in — longer nights, slower mornings, and more time spent under the covers. If your bed isn’t delivering peak comfort, you’ll feel it now more than ever.

That’s why it could be an ideal moment to rethink your sleep setup. Emma has launched its latest sale, offering significant savings on mattress toppers, memory foam mattresses, mattress protectors, and pillows— so you can upgrade everything in one go. Most sleep experts recommend switching to a new mattress every six to eight years.

If your current mattress is anything close to that, Emma is offering 25% off its award-winning products online from now until 11:59pm February 23, 2026.

Emma is one of a slew of so-called bed-in-a-box brands, which roll and vacuum-pack all-foam or hybrid mattresses so they can be delivered without any hassle. Most of these companies will collect your old mattress and recycle it — saving you a trip to the tip.

They also sell some of the best mattress toppers in the UK, duvets, bedding, and more.

Buying a mattress online might seem riskier than heading to your local showroom. To reassure customers, the team at Emma offers a 200-night trial period on all mattresses from its online store.

If you're unhappy with the mattress at any point during the first 200 nights, you can organise for free collection and a full refund. That should reassure anyone curious about trying an all-foam or hybrid design.

If you've never heard of Emma before, the innovative direct-to-consumer brand is behind the UK's best-selling mattress — known as the Emma Original — which has a shelf bulging with 25 industry awards.

We've rounded up some of the best deals below.

Save £275 on the Emma Elite Original Mattress

Emma's Elite Original mattress has a cover that features a thicker, soft-touch fabric that’s made to be gentle on your skin and fully removable for easy washing, helping extend the life of your mattress. Beneath it, breathable layers promote airflow, relieve pressure, and support your body—so you can stay cool, comfortable, and supported throughout the night

Each mattress has a 200-night trial and a 10-year guarantee because they're that confident you'll enjoy their products as much as they do.

Emma Elite Original Mattress (Double)
$1099 $824.25

Emma's Elite Original mattress is designed with seven layers to provide the ultimate comfortable support. Created with memory foam, it adapts to your unique shape and distributes weight across multiple zones to promote relaxation.

It's also built with Airgrid technology, so you won't feel heavy or like you're sinking into your mattress.

Plus, it comes with a cover that's easily removable and washable when cleaning.

Save £81 on the Emma Original Pro mattress topper

Add some extra cushion to your existing mattress without having to replace the full thing. Designed with cooling technology and 9cm thick, it's made to keep you comfortable and supported all night long

Emma premium bed mattress topper (Double)
$321 $240.75

With one of the best mattress toppers fitted to your bed, you can enjoy extra comfort and support. Plus, given that it's a removable layer, you can remove it and take it with you during a staycation in the campervan, for example.

Think of it as a "comfort upgrade kit" for your bed — it can make a too-firm mattress softer, a too-soft mattress more supportive, or add features like cooling or pressure relief.

It can also act as a versatile addition to a guest bedroom if you're hosting those who have specific support needs.

Save 20% on the Emma mattress protector

All of Emma's mattress protectors include a 14-night risk-free trial, free delivery and returns, and 0% financing. With Emma, you have the opportunity to spread the cost of your purchase with monthly instalments ranging from 3-12 months

Emma mattress protector (Double)
$67 $53.60

A mattress protector is a simple, washable cover that shields your mattress from spills, stains, dust, allergens, and wear — helping it stay clean, fresh, and comfortable for years while preserving your warranty on both mattress toppers and mattresses.

Emma's mattress protector is spill-proof, machine washable, and made with anti-allergen technology — so it's working overtime to keep your mattress safe and you comfortable.

Save 20% on the Emma premium cloud pillow

Machine-washable and backed by a 30-night trial and 2-year guarantee, the Emma premium cloud pillow blends plush comfort with practical hygiene and long-term quality.

Emma's pillows come with a soft, breathable micro-elastic cover, a cooling layer for temperature control, and adjustable Aerosoft microfibre filling that lets you customise the height and firmness to your liking.

If you're in the market for more than one, Emma also offers several bundling options.

What's the difference between foam and hybrid mattresses?

Like most bed-in-a-box brands, Emma offers all-foam and hybrid mattresses in its online store. Each of these designs has its own benefits, and your preference will vary based on your sleep preferences.

  • Foam mattresses excel in contouring and pressure relief. If the design includes a layer of memory foam, the mattress will mould to the shape of your body, providing personalised support. If you suffer from joint or back pain, foam mattresses are the perfect choice, since they offer support and hug you while sleeping. It's this closeness that makes all-foam mattresses excellent at isolating motion — making them a great choice for couples
  • Hybrid mattresses combine layers of foam, including supportive memory foam, with coils or pocket-springs. This combination offers the best of both worlds — the contour and pressure relief of foam, combined with stability and additional airflow provided by coils. Hybrid mattresses often provide better edge support than all-foam mattresses, making them ideal for those who need extra help getting in and out of bed. They also tend to sleep cooler than all-foam designs due to the increased airflow through the coils.

If you're buying a new mattress, it can take up to five hours to expand before it's fully taken shape

EMMA PRESS OFFICE

How long does it take for an Emma mattress to expand?

Emma ships its mattresses in a neat vacuum-packed box directly from the warehouse to your door. As soon as the order has shipped, you'll be provided with a tracking link. UK delivery is always free of charge, and you'll also be able to return your mattress (there's no need to vacuum-pack it) at no cost too.

When your new mattress arrives, you must cut into the plastic to let air back into the foam. It's best to position the mattress on your bed before you begin to remove the plastic wrapping, as it'll be much harder to move after it's regained its shape.

It can take up to five hours for your all-foam or hybrid mattress to completely regain its shape.

You'll also notice a plasticky "new" smell during the first few nights with the Emma mattress. If your mattress has a detachable cover, you can put it in the wash to remove the odour.

Do you need to keep the box for the 200-night trial?

Keeping a box for over half a year in case you decide you'd rather not keep sleeping on an Emma mattress is a little excessive.

While the sleep brand says it would "prefer to receive the products back in their respective box (as it's the most sustainable option)", Emma will not refuse to honour the 200-night trial if you don't have the box. That's good news for those short on space, like those living in a flat who want to see whether a mattress from the brand is a good fit for them.

Emma only asks that you try to protect the mattress when handing it back to the courier, whether that's with plastic wrapping or another box that you can repurpose.
