Despite his expanding commercial interests, the Ukrainian remains firmly focused on defending his heavyweight titles

Oleksandr Usyk has revealed that he has already determined the precise moment he will hang up his gloves and is preparing for life beyond the ring by venturing into overseas property development.

The undefeated heavyweight champion, who turns 40 this year, is partnering with Avalon Bali Group on residential projects across Thailand and Bali.

The Ukrainian, who became undisputed champion in two weight classes during his decorated career, is channelling his considerable ring earnings into a diversified business portfolio through his Ready to Fight platform.

His property investments centre on a "performance living" concept, combining high-end accommodation with wellness amenities and branded training facilities called Usyk Gyms.

The apartments cost around £60,000 and offer annual returns of around 12 per cent.

Siam Residence, a villa development, offers prices ranging from £190,000 to £225,000, with projected rental yields of 14 to 16 per cent annually.

The Bali flagship project will integrate serviced apartments alongside sports facilities, wellness areas and smart-home technology, with a Usyk Gym serving as the centrepiece.

These properties will link to the Ready to Fight digital ecosystem, where the RTF token is designed to provide functionality for boxers and may eventually grant access within the property network.

Usyk described the partnership as part of his wider goal to promote Ukrainian business globally while supporting athletes through his platform.

Beyond property, Usyk has also revived his promotional company Usyk17 Promotions, indicating his intention to shape the next generation of fighters once his own competitive days conclude.

Speaking on the Usyk 17 Promotion Instagram page today, the champion acknowledged the inevitable transition awaiting him.

Usyk said: "There's a clear date when I'll tell people: Thank you."

He added: "An older fight can't compete with a younger fight physically. Not in speed."

"You have to understand we've walked your path and now it's the era of the younger guys."

The promotional relaunch demonstrates his commitment to maintaining influence in boxing, mentoring emerging talent rather than stepping away from the sport entirely upon retirement.

Despite his expanding commercial interests, Usyk remains firmly focused on defending his heavyweight titles as the division's landscape shifts around him.

A much-anticipated showdown with Deontay Wilder never came to fruition, prompting the champion to consider alternative opponents for his next ring appearance.

Andy Ruiz Jr has been mentioned as a potential challenger.

Agit Kabayel has positioned himself as the mandatory contender following what is expected to be a voluntary defence from Usyk.

The prospect of a third meeting with Tyson Fury also looms, with the British fighter publicly stating his desire to complete the trilogy after their previous encounters redefined the modern heavyweight era.
