These updates will be rolling out to everyone with a Colorsoft and Scribe Colorsoft in the coming weeks.
To toggle this on, follow these steps:
- From any screen, swipe down from the top (Quick Actions menu)
- Tap “Dark Mode”
- (Optional) Go into settings to customise which screens use Dark Mode (home, library, books, etc.)
The Colorsoft and Scribe Colorsoft deliver all the features you've come to expect from Kindle, but enhanced with a colour e-ink screen. This means browsing book covers is much more vibrant than when you read from the standard Paperwhite. You can read graphic novels, magazines, and other illustrated content without missing some of the context normally illustrated with the use of colour.
In addition to Dark Mode, the colourful e-readers also feature an adjustable warm light for comfortable reading at any point of the day, too.
