Items start from just 89p

Amazon has launched its latest 48-hour site-wide sale exclusively for Prime subscribers. Dubbed Prime Big Deal Days, you will need an active Amazon Prime membership — or be signed up for a 30-day free trial — to take advantage of the thousands of discounts coming to every department on the website.

Without an Amazon Prime subscription, you'll need to pay RRP for all items. The price cuts won't be around for very long either, with Prime Big Deal Days scheduled to end at 11.59pm on October 8, 2025.

If you're already subscribed to Prime, it's worth having a browse of the blockbuster sale, but if you're looking for the cheapest products available on Amazon, you're more likely to find them in a lesser-known section, dubbed Amazon Haul.

For those who don't know, Amazon Haul is a new ultra-budget section tucked away on the UK website and mobile app designed to take on the likes of Shein and Temu. Amazon Haul quietly launched back in May, following its debut in the United States late last year. In the five months since it arrived (quietly) on British shores, you might have missed it entirely – Amazon hasn't exactly been shouting about it from the rooftops.

Head to the "Crazy Low" section of the lesser-known Amazon Haul storefront and you'll be able to unlock some ludicrously cheap products. Designed to compete with Shein and Temu, Amazon Haul never charges over £20 for a single item — and there are plenty that cost £5 or under. If you spend more on your "haul," Amazon will discount the overall amount spend on your order

Amazon Haul

That could be because Amazon Haul is still marked as being "in beta". This is a term used in software development to refer to an early, pre-release version of a product or service, which is not fully complete but available to a wider audience for testing and feedback before its final launch.

Despite being in beta testing, Amazon Haul has its (digital) shelves packed with thousands of items all priced under £20 – and most cost less than a tenner. The cheapest items we were able to find on the service were just 89p, meaning this all-new storefront beats Poundland.

You'll find everything from fashion to home goods, beauty bits to tech accessories. It's Amazon's answer to those Chinese shopping apps everyone's been talking about. Like those ultra-affordable retailers, Amazon Haul orders will arrive in two weeks or less, so you'll need to be patient to enjoy the cheapest deals.

Prices on all items are capped at £20, so you won't find anything that costs more than that for a single item.

Keep an eye out for the "Crazy Low" section, where you'll spot the absolute cheapest deals, which are refreshed regularly — it promises to be a treasure trove if you're after everyday basics (without breaking the bank).

Discussing the launch of Haul earlier this year, John Boumphrey, UK Country Manager of Amazon, said: "We are constantly working to provide the best possible shopping experience for customers, and this is another way to offer low prices on a wide selection of products.

"Now more than ever, we know our customers are looking to save, and we’re excited to provide more options through the shopping app and website they already know and love."

Despite being built into the Amazon website and app, Haul is a separate entity. Amazon Haul has its own shopping experience, search, basket, and checkout, so you can build a great haul of items at low prices.

Amazon says shoppers can take advantage of extra savings available, including 5% off orders over £50, and 10% off orders over £75.

Amazon Haul offers free delivery on orders over £15, or a standard delivery charge of £2.99 on orders below £15.

All products on Haul go through all relevant Amazon checks so customers can be confident they’ll receive products that are safe and compliant with all applicable regulations and Amazon policies.

If a customer wants to return an item, they can do so for free if requested within 15 days of receipt. In many cases, customers don’t have to worry about boxes or labels, and their preferred drop-off location – including Post Offices, Asda, Morrisons and others – will handle the packing, labelling, and shipping.
