The two men are due to battle in Saudi Arabia on October 28

Tyson Fury may have been handed a boost ahead of his fight with Francis Ngannou - and it's all because of Drake.

The 'Gyspy King' will lock horns with Ngannou in Saudi Arabia next month, with that fight due to commence on October 28.

Fury is the overwhelming favourite to reign supreme given his boxing experience, having never lost and drawn just one fight throughout his career.

He has also managed 24 knockouts from 34 battles, too.

And Fury may now have a fresh advantage after Ngannou posed for pictures with American rapper, Drake.

Drake is one of the biggest music artists in the world these days. However, meeting the 36-year-old seems to come with a curse.

Many famous sporting figures have proceeded to lose immediately after meeting Drake.

Conor McGregor thought the rapper would motivate him to reign supreme when he faced Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018 - only for the Russian to win instead.

Anthony Joshua famously lost to Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019, just days after he'd encountered Drake.

And the same has happened to footballers, too.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Jadon Sancho previously played for Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund respectively.

And, after posing for pictures with Drake, the pair then lost matches against Everton and Bayern Munich while playing for their sides.

Sergio Aguero and Paul Pogba both met the American when they were strutting their stuff for Manchester City and Manchester United respectively.
But their teams would then end up losing matches to the likes of Tottenham and Barcelona.

Fans on Twitter were quick to respond to Ngannou's post, with one saying: "Guys, Ngannou lost the fight."

Another said: "The Drake Curse just lowered your chances even more."

A third fan stated: "Why did you meet Drake, that man got a curse."

"Damn, you touch Drake you get cursed. Sorry to say, you lost bro," were the words of a fourth fan.

And a fifth joked: "Bet every single dollar in the world on Fury."

Meanwhile, Derek Chisora has had his say on the upcoming fight in Riyadh.

And the 39-year-old has surprisingly expressed a belief that Fury will be stunned, with Ngannou tipped to win their showdown instead.

“That’s a big fight,” Chisora told Seconds Out recently.

“Tyson is going to win it, but I think Tyson is going to get dropped by Ngannou.”

Ngannou last fought all the way back in January 2022, beating Ciryl Gane to retain the UFC heavyweight title.
