Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has been told what guarantees he will have at Real Madrid if he makes the blockbuster transfer next summer.
There has been plenty of speculation over the England international and his future at Anfield as he enters the final year of his contract.
Real Madrid are primed to take the defender next year on a free transfer as part of a Galactico-like summer transfer plan, with Arsenal star William Saliba and Manchester City midfielder Rodri also on their wish list.
The fact that Alexander-Arnold has yet to put to paper on a new deal at Liverpool has fans concerned that he is considering leaving his boyhood club for Madrid.

And former Liverpool right-back Glen Johnson reckons it might be an opportunity he cannot pass up - because of the sheer amount of silverware he would win.
Speaking to BetFred, Johnson said: “Real Madrid are guaranteed to win things so for Trent, it’s never going to be about money at that level because everybody’s paid very well.
"So if it’s trophies that he wants, then Real Madrid will guarantee that.
"But Liverpool fans would love to see him stay and fight for trophies at Anfield.”
Jude Bellingham joined Real Madrid last summer and has already been a huge success at the Bernabeu, winning the Champions League and La Liga in his debut campaign.

And the 21-year-old is close pals with Alexander-Arnold, who bonded over the summer as England reached the final at Euro 2024.
There has been speculation that the midfielder has been chewing the Liverpool star's ear off over a move to Madrid.
But Johnson reckons that words are not necessary when Real Madrid come calling.

He added: “The club is 95% of the pull itself but of course, if he speaks to Jude and Jude tells him how great it is there, then that could make his decision final.
"Let’s face it, if Real Madrid come calling, then that’s where most players will want to go.
"Jude could be the final piece in the puzzle when it comes to Trent making his decision, but I believe Trent would be up for the deal anyway, regardless of whether Jude is there or not.”

Glen Johnson reckons the fans would forgive Trent Alexander-Arnold if he left

Leaving Liverpool on a free transfer would certainly sting the club but Johnson has insisted that the fans would forgive him.
He said: "The reality is, if the club has offered him a deal that isn’t worth his while, then that’s their fault and I believe the fans will understand that.
"All good things come to an end and I’m sure he'll leave on good terms.
"However, I do believe that Trent would ideally want to end his career at Liverpool.”
