Carlos Alcaraz has continued his charge towards another Wimbledon title after overcoming Taylor Fritz in the semi-finals on Friday.
The Spaniard had gone into the showdown on a high after overcoming Britain's Cam Norrie in straight sets in the previous round.
And though Fritz had hope when he won the second set, Alcaraz managed to reign supreme with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (8-6) victory at Centre Court.
It means the 22-year-old will compete for the sixth Grand Slam title of his career on Sunday. Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner will compete in the other semi-final later today.

The Spaniard secured the opening set after breaking Fritz in the first game, maintaining his dominance by winning every point when landing his first serve.
Alcaraz clinched the third set by breaking Fritz's serve again, converting his second set point after the American hit a forehand long. The defending champion demonstrated his superiority throughout the contest, though Fritz managed to mount periods of extreme pressure on the world No2.

But Fritz showed remarkable resilience despite trailing, managing to break Alcaraz to love and level the match at one set all.
The American's return game improved significantly during this period, capitalising on a dip in Alcaraz's performance that saw the Spaniard commit two unforced errors and a double fault in that crucial game.
Fritz also created multiple opportunities to turn the match in his favour, earning set points against the defending champion.
But he was unable to convert these chances, including a second set point where he struck a conservative forehand before hitting long when presented with an ideal opportunity to attack a slow return.

In the face of adversity, Alcaraz drew from the Centre Court crowd, raising his fist and encouraging their support as the atmosphere reached a climax.
And his mental fortitude shone through in critical moments, including saving a second set point where Fritz failed to capitalise on a weak return.
Fritz's exhaustion from his recent tournament successes eventually proved crucial - the American arrived at Wimbledon already fatigued after claiming victory at Eastbourne and triumphing in Germany.
