Kayla Nicole, influencer and ex-girlfriend of NFL star Travis Kelce, recently opened up about the financial realities of dog parenthood following their 2022 split.
During the May 9 episode of her podcast "The Pre-Game," Nicole revealed the steep costs associated with caring for the dogs she shared with Kelce during their five-year relationship.
The candid discussion included details about a recent $2,000 veterinary bill for her furry companions.
Nicole explained that she took "full responsibility" for the dogs Chauncey and Rambo after her breakup with Kelce.

The topic arose during a conversation with podcast guest Nazanin Mandi, who shared that she and her ex-husband Miguel each have custody of one of their cats.
"I have dogs with the previous partner, and I got both the dogs," Nicole stated, before revealing the substantial veterinary expenses she now handles alone.
Nicole and Kelce had an on-again, off-again relationship for five years beginning in 2017, during which time they adopted the pups together.
The couple ultimately split in 2022, with Nicole taking on the care of both dogs.
"I had a dog bill the other day that was $2,000," the sports reporter shared during her podcast conversation with Mandi.
Meanwhile, Kelce's NFL career appears to be approaching its final chapter.

The 35-year-old tight end has decided to return to the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2025 season.
However, sources indicate this could very well be his last year on the field.
Despite their relationship ending nearly three years ago, Nicole's comments come as Kelce prepares for what might be the final season of his legendary football career.
