Travis Kelce has doubled down on his dad joke about already owning a Taylor Swift signed guitar that was up for auction at Patrick Mahomes' charity event.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end addressed the viral moment during the latest episode of his "New Heights" podcast with brother Jason Kelce.
The joke occurred nearly a week ago at the 15 and the Mahomies Vegas Golf Classic Gala, where Travis was seen putting down his auction paddle after initially showing interest in the item.
The moment quickly spread across social media, with fans amused by his quip about the signed guitar.
During the podcast, Jason played the viral video and suggested his brother was "helping a good cause by running up an auction price for a signed guitar."
Travis quickly corrected him, insisting, "No, I put my paddle up because I wanted it and then I realised, 'Oh, I already have it. Oh, that was the guitar I have.'"
When Jason expressed doubt, asking if he "realised it afterwards," Travis explained he "had to get a good look at it," adding, "You don't want to buy the same guitar twice."
Jason, 37, laughed and called his brother's quip "well done."
Travis went on to praise Mahomes' charity event, calling it "a f***ing blast" that keeps "raising more and more money every single year."
Swift, 35, was notably absent from this year's fundraiser despite attending the previous year's event.
In April 2024, the couple had acted "affectionate" and showed "lots of" PDA during the auction, according to an eyewitness.

This time around, the Grammy winner has primarily remained out of the public eye since concluding her record-breaking Eras Tour.
The couple also skipped the Met Gala earlier this month, which had sparked speculation among fans.
Meanwhile, headlines have been circulating about Swift's alleged friendship issues with Blake Lively, though reports from April suggested the pair were on "good terms" following a "heartfelt" apology from the "Gossip Girl" actress.
Travis, who is currently in his NFL offseason following a Super Bowl loss, has been spotted solo at various events whilst Swift remains largely absent from public view.

The tight end has been seen golfing in Las Vegas, modelling in Manhattan and attending other engagements without his famous partner.
The couple's time apart has drawn attention from fans and media alike, particularly as Swift has chosen to step back from the spotlight after completing her mammoth Eras Tour.
Despite the separation, Kelce appeared in good spirits at Mahomes' charity event, enthusiastically supporting his teammate's fundraising efforts for underserved communities in Kansas City.
