After noting that the First Lady considers "the weightlifting is terrible," Trump launched into his performance.
He mimicked a competitor straining to lift weights, grunting and gesturing throughout the act.
The President said: "Drops the thing, walks off the stage crying. Her mother's crying, her father's crying."
He then shifted to portraying a second athlete who handled the weights with ease.

"Guy gets up. He said, 'Have you lifted before?' 'A little bit.' And he walks up, 'bing.' He could've gone 'ding, ding,'" Trump said, pantomiming effortless lifting motions.
The President's performance went viral on social media.
Riley Gaines, a former university swimmer who has campaigned against transgender participation in women's athletics, endorsed the routine by reposting the clip on X.
Gaines wrote: "Trump's imitation of a trans weightlifter. No, I don't regret my vote. This is perfect."

This was not the President's first such performance.
He delivered a comparable impression at the University of Alabama in May.
The routine comes amid broader administration efforts to restrict transgender rights, including a military ban that the Supreme Court has permitted to proceed during ongoing legal challenges, and moves to prevent citizens from selecting passport sex markers matching their gender identity.
