Conor McGregor is set to wed his long-term partner Dee Devlin at a historic Vatican church today, according to sources within the Holy See.
The ceremony will reportedly take place at the Chiesa di Santo Stefano degli Abissini, a small church situated near St Peter's Basilica along the path to the Vatican Gardens.
The mixed martial arts fighter, 37, and Ms Devlin, 38, share four children together.
Their relationship stretches back 17 years to 2008, with McGregor proposing in August 2020 just before her 33rd birthday.
Dee Devlin and Conor McGregor have been together for over a decade | InstagramVatican spokesman Matteo Bruni earlier this week told the Irish Independent he had no knowledge of wedding arrangements involving the couple.
However, reports claim that insiders confirmed the church had been reserved for the nuptials.
Senior figures within the Vatican have privately voiced concerns about the appropriateness of making the church available to McGregor, according to reports.
The unease stems from a civil trial verdict last year in Dublin's High Court, where a jury determined that McGregor had raped Nikita Hand at a Dublin hotel in 2018.
Ms Hand was awarded nearly €250,000 in damages following the ruling.
McGregor was additionally ordered to cover legal costs estimated at approximately €1.3 million.

However, the court rejected his account of events.
Irish prosecutors had previously decided in 2019 against bringing criminal charges following a Garda investigation, prompting Ms Hand to pursue the matter through civil proceedings instead.
This month, Ireland's Supreme Court dismissed McGregor's bid to overturn the verdict.
The court found that he had received a fair hearing and refused to grant any further appeal.
His legal team had argued that answers McGregor gave to police during questioning should not have been presented to the jury.
In a statement released through her solicitors, Coleman Legal, Ms Hand described the Supreme Court decision as "a victory for the justice system."
She said: "The public and private roads that I and my loved ones have travelled have been long and painful."
Ms Hand added: "Today marks not a victory for me but for all of those who have been treated as I have."
She expressed gratitude to the medical professionals who treated her, her legal representatives, and advocates who "work tirelessly for the healing of victims."

| GETTYMs Devlin has remained publicly supportive of McGregor throughout the legal proceedings.
Following last year's civil case verdict, she wrote: "Conor and I dealt with these issues privately many years ago, as should be done in a relationship, and we have come out stronger than ever."
She added: "We have four beautiful children now whose smiling faces and happy hearts are a testament to who he is and who we are!"
McGregor has previously spoken about the crucial role his partner played in his rise to becoming the first UFC fighter to hold two championship titles simultaneously.
He once said: "Dee is a lifesaver for me. I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for her. I'm doing all of this for her."
He added: "Every day, since I started out in this game, she's supported me. She'd drive me to the gym, and she'd listen to all my dreams."
