LIV Golf will be well-represented at the PGA Championship - with 16 players making appearances at Quail Hollow this week

Sixteen LIV Golf players will tee it up at the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow this week, bringing together stars from both major golf circuits for the season's second major.

The field includes some of LIV's biggest names, including Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, and Jon Rahm.

These players have found ways to qualify for the prestigious event despite LIV Golf tournaments not awarding Official World Golf Ranking points, which has been a significant hurdle for LIV golfers seeking major championship entries.

LIV golfers have qualified for the PGA Championship through several alternative pathways. Past PGA champions like Phil Mickelson and Koepka hold lifetime exemptions.

Recent major winners, including Rahm (Masters) and DeChambeau (U.S. Open), automatically qualify.

Players who finished in the top 15 at last year's PGA Championship, such as Dean Burmester, also earned spots.

Special invitations were extended to several LIV players, including Joaquin Niemann, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson, Tom McKibbin, and Patrick Reed.

Richard Bland qualified by winning the 2024 Senior PGA Championship.

DeChambeau enters as one of the favorites after finishing runner-up at last year's PGA Championship, where he shot a career-best 64 in the final round.

The reigning U.S. Open champion is seeking to become the first player since Koepka in 2019 to hold both titles simultaneously.

Koepka, a three-time PGA Championship winner, is one of just six players to win this major three times.

Rahm brings an impressive major record to Quail Hollow, with two major titles and consistent top-10 finishes in LIV events.

Niemann has been LIV Golf's standout performer in 2025, winning three tournaments in seven starts and leading the season-long Individual Championship race.

Mickelson, a two-time PGA champion, made history in 2021 when he won at Kiawah Island at age 50, becoming the oldest major winner ever.

Cameron Smith qualified through his 2022 Open Championship victory but has struggled to contend in majors since joining LIV.

Garcia captured his first LIV title at the 2025 LIV Golf Hong Kong event, adding to his 2017 Masters victory.

The remaining LIV players in the field include Tyrrell Hatton, who is making his 35th consecutive major start and finished T3 in his last appearance at Quail Hollow.

A handful of the LIV stars have even landed the Green Jacket at Augusta with Mickelson, Reed, Garcia, Johnson and Rahm all winning The Masters over their illustrious career.
