Adidas has officially unveiled Scotland's salmon-pink away strip for the 2026 World Cup, bringing an end to months of speculation following leaks that first emerged in November.
The Scottish Football Association announced the kit on social media, declaring: "The best worst kept secret is officially out. The trefoil returns to the @fifaworldcup."
Steve Clarke's squad will don the vibrant strip when they return to football's biggest tournament for the first time since 1998.
The Tartan Army are set to face Haiti, Morocco and Brazil in the group stages, with their opening fixture scheduled for Boston on July 14.

The strip showcases navy blue pinstripes set against its distinctive salmon pink base, with the classic Adidas trefoil logo making a prominent return across all the sportswear giant's away shirts for this global release.
The design pays homage to Scotland's most celebrated away kits from decades past, particularly evoking memories of the strip worn during the famous victory over Germany in Bremen in 1999.
Elements of the 1980s red-and-navy pinstriped kit, which proved popular with an earlier generation of supporters, are also evident in the new design.
A thistle motif adorns the back of the collar, serving as a subtle tribute to the nation's identity.

Reaction from supporters has been decidedly split since the kit's unveiling, with the colour proving particularly divisive.
Some fans have taken to describing the shade as orange or comparing it to the hue of Irn Bru rather than salmon pink.
One supporter commented on social media: "Love the trefoil and design but the colour."
However, others have embraced the bold aesthetic.

One fan wrote: "Don't care what others say. That is a great looking top."
The strip's tendency to polarise opinion means it may struggle to achieve viral popularity, although its uniqueness is undeniable as Scotland prepare for their long-awaited return to the world stage.
Numerous supporters have pointed out that counterfeit versions of the strip have been circulating for some time, significantly undercutting the official release.
One fan remarked: "Weird, I got mine about 2 months ago for £15."

Additional items in the range include a track top at £85, shorts for £50, and track pants priced at £80.
The kit is available through JD Sports, the SFA's official retail partner.
