The former Manchester United midfielder launched a blistering attack on one star

Roy Keane launched a scathing attack on Manchester United defender Luke Shaw after suffered a comprehensive 3-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Phil Foden and Erling Haaland dismantling their city rivals to end Pep Guardiola's side's two-match losing streak.


Jeremy Doku also proved instrumental in the opening two goals, weaving past defenders before setting up Foden to head home after 18 minutes.

The Belgian winger tormented Shaw throughout, and was at the centre of much of City's attacks.

Haaland doubled the advantage eight minutes into the second half, collecting Doku's pass and delicately chipping over Altay Bayindir after brushing off Shaw's challenge.

The result leaves United languishing in 14th place with just one victory this season, whilst City climbed to eighth.

Following the derby defeat, Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane launched a blistering attack on Shaw, declaring the defender has been "getting away with murder for years at United."

"Shaw is an international footballer, so for him to get caught out like that..." the former United midfielder despaired.

"I think he has been getting away with murder for years at United. Always injured and never quite fit.

"We make excuses and then he gets a few games under his belt and he's making decisions like he doesn't even want to tackle anyone."

The Irishman then bemoaned the Red Devils' lack of passion for the derby. They ended the game without a single yellow card.

"Not one yellow card. The Manchester derby, it's raining and set up for a few tackles," he demanded.

"United walk off the pitch! I am sick of repeating myself. It's a derby game.

"You shouldn't be able to get out of bed for a week, not one yellow card!

"Try tackling. Try hitting somebody. Football is a physical game."

Manchester United currently sit bottom of the table among teams who have played every match since Amorim took charge, accumulating just 31 points from 31 games.
