On Boxing Day, football fans were furious. In a break from tradition there was just one fixture, with Manchester United beating Newcastle 1-0 at Old Trafford.
However, 24 hours later, and supporters across the nation have been treated.
Following Manchester City's 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest earlier in the day, there were five matches at 3pm on Saturday.
City had gone top following some late heroics from Rayan Cherki, who continues to impress following his arrival from Lyon back in the summer.
Arsenal, however, now sit atop the summit after a 2-1 victory over Brighton at the Emirates Stadium.
There were also victories for Liverpool and Brentford, too.
GB News now takes a look at the action.

Arsenal went into their game against Brighton with pressure rising due to City's victory over Forest.
However, the Gunners were in cruise control as they leapfrogged their rivals at the top of the table.
Martin Odegaard put them ahead in the 14th minute, with Georginio Rutter's own-goal seven minutes after the restart ultimately giving them all three points despite Diego Gomez pulling one back.

Liverpool 2-1 Wolves

Florian Wirtz was impressive as Liverpool battled their way to a 2-1 victory over Wolves

There were emotional scenes at Anfield prior to the clash against Wolves, with Diogo Jota's children serving as mascots in the game between two of his former clubs.
The Reds ran out 2-1 winners, though it was certainly far from convincing.
Florian Wirtz scored one and provided the assist for Ryan Gravenberch, with Santiago Bueno's goal in the second half ultimately not enough.
West Ham 0-1 Fulham
Neither West Ham, nor Fulham, have had much to cheer about this season.
And the game at the London Stadium was far from a classic, with both sides struggling to create clear chances.
Fulham, however, snatched all three points late on through veteran forward Raul Jimenez. Pressure is building on Nuno Espirito Santo in the Hammers dugout, with his team missing out on the chance to close the gap on Forest - who sit 17th in the table.
Brentford 4-1 Bournemouth

Kevin Schade netted twice for Brentford as they beat Bournemouth

Brentford have been hugely impressive at home this season.
And they ran out 4-1 winners against Bournemouth, on a day where Antoine Semenyo featured for the Cherries despite being heavily linked with a move away.
Kevin Schade netted a sensational hat-trick for the Bees, with Djordje Petrovic's own-goal compounding the visitors' misery. Semenyo, who is widely expected to join Manchester City, struck late on.
Burnley 0-0 Everton
Another game that didn't provide any fireworks.
The biggest talking point before the showdown was the absence of Jack Grealish, with David Moyes confirming the England international was suffering from a virus.
On the pitch, there wasn't much happening with the two teams going away with a point each.
