Daniel Farke couldn't hide his frustration after watching his Leeds United side fall to a 2-1 defeat against Tottenham at Elland Road.
The German manager was particularly incensed with the officiating and his team's wasteful finishing, despite what he felt was a dominant display against top-flight opposition.
It was a bitter pill to swallow for Leeds, who saw their impressive unbeaten home record come to an end.
The Whites hadn't lost at Elland Road in over a year, since a 1-0 defeat against Burnley, making today’s result all the more painful for the home faithful.
What made it worse was the manner of the defeat. Two deflected strikes from Mathys Tel and Mohammed Kudus proved decisive, leaving Farke to rue what might have been after his side created enough clear-cut opportunities to equalise at the least.

The match started brilliantly for Leeds when Joe Rodon crashed a header against the post from Sean Longstaff's free-kick after just seven minutes.
But it was Spurs who struck first through Tel, whose shot took a deflection off Pascal Struijk following good work from Kudus.

Leeds hit back before half-time when Noah Okafor pounced on Guglielmo Vicario's parried save to level things up.
The home side continued to create chances, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin guilty of a poor miss when he sliced wide from close range.
The turning point came when Kudus grabbed his second assist of the afternoon.
After beating his marker, the winger's low drive deflected slightly off Struijk again to wrong-foot Karl Darlow and restore Tottenham's lead.

Farke remained somewhat diplomatic in his post-match comments, though his disappointment was evident.
"Very unfortunate. First feeling is disappointment," he said. "Many compliments to the lads for their performance. After this game, I would normally be disappointed with a draw. Better side in all aspects. Missed too many chances.

"Deflected strike out of a non-dangerous situation. Gabi [Gudmundsson] slips for a second. Punished with deflection again. They scored twice out of nothing."
When asked about the officiating that had angered the Elland Road crowd, Farke chose his words carefully but clearly expressed his frustration.

"I have to be careful and do not like to comment. Last time we had this referee it was a big talking point and got a letter. Leave it to other people to comment. I cannot influence this."
Despite the defeat, there were positives for Farke to take from the performance. His side showed they can compete with the Premier League's top teams, particularly with the support of the Elland Road faithful, creating chance after chance against quality opposition.
Leeds' attacking concerns remain a talking point though. Okafor is the only player who's scored more than once in the league for the Whites this season.
Summer arrival Calvert-Lewin has scored just one goal for the club - a terrific header in their 3-1 victory over Wolves a fortnight ago - but looks a threat and gives defenders a problem, particularly with long balls.
Longstaff has been a smart addition but couldn't add to his solitary goal tally after he got off the mark for the club last week.
Late substitute Joel Piroe nearly snatched a point in stoppage time, only for Guglielmo Vicario to produce a brilliant save.
