Pep Guardiola insisted Manchester City have no choice but to press on after their title hopes suffered another setback on Wednesday evening.
The defending champions dropped further behind Arsenal following a frustrating 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium, leaving them seven points adrift of the league leaders.
City had established the advantage on two separate occasions during the match, yet were unable to hold on for all three points.
"Disappointed for the result, we did everything again, we did not concede much and we had chances at the end especially and during the game as well," Guardiola told TNT Sports.

Antoine Semenyo, who has made an impressive impact since arriving in Manchester, opened the scoring shortly after the half-hour mark to give City the lead.
Forest responded through Morgan Gibbs-White, who found the net eleven minutes after the interval to draw level.

Rodri then headed City back in front from a corner, seemingly putting the hosts on course for victory.
However, Elliot Anderson struck to restore parity for a second time, ensuring Nuno Espírito Santo's side departed with a valuable point in their battle against relegation.
Arsenal's narrow 1-0 triumph at Brighton earlier in the evening meant City's failure to secure maximum points proved particularly costly, with Guardiola's men having played one fewer match than their rivals.

"[The players] tried to do their best, when you see how they run but of course, in a game at home and at this stage of the season it's important, but keep going," he said.
The City manager was adamant that dwelling on setbacks would serve no purpose as the campaign enters its crucial phase.
"We don't have time to look back, so look forward," Guardiola added.
With the title race potentially slipping away, the Spaniard acknowledged the significance of home fixtures during this period whilst maintaining his characteristic determination to continue competing.
Guardiola quickly turned his attention to the challenges ahead, with a demanding schedule awaiting his squad in the coming days.

"Now it's on to Newcastle in the FA Cup, then Real Madrid in the Champions League. Game by game," he stated.
The City boss emphasised that his team are well accustomed to juggling multiple competitions simultaneously and must maintain their focus across all fronts.
"We are used to playing in a lot of competitions and we will go for that game, there are a lot of game to play so we have to continue," Guardiola explained.
With domestic and European silverware still within reach, City will hope to bounce back swiftly from this latest league disappointment.
