AC Milan are preparing to hold talks with Oliver Glasner as the Italian giants step up their search for a new manager following a disappointing Serie A campaign.
The Rossoneri are looking to rebuild after finishing fifth in the league and missing out on Champions League qualification, a result that ultimately cost Massimiliano Allegri his job.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Glasner has emerged as one of the leading candidates to take charge at the San Siro, with discussions expected to take place in the coming days.
The Austrian's stock has risen considerably following a hugely successful spell at Palace.
Glasner departed Selhurst Park after overseeing one of the most successful periods in the club's history, guiding Palace to FA Cup glory before adding further silverware with victories in the Community Shield and Europa Conference League.
Those achievements have attracted interest from across Europe, with Milan now considering whether the 51-year-old could be the man to restore the club to the summit of Italian football.
Reports have suggested Milan explored a move for former Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola, only for that option to fail to materialise.

Attention has now turned towards Glasner, who would arrive with a growing reputation as one of Europe's most highly regarded coaches.
Milan are also said to be working on wider structural changes behind the scenes.
Former Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has reportedly emerged as a leading contender to become the club's new sporting director following the departure of Igli Tare after just one season in the role.

The potential appointments are closely linked.
Glasner and Rangnick previously worked together at Red Bull Salzburg, where Glasner served as an assistant coach before launching his own managerial career.
Milan owner Gerry Cardinale and senior adviser Zlatan Ibrahimovic are believed to view the pair as a potentially strong partnership capable of providing a clear long-term vision for the club.
The seven-time European champions have struggled to establish sustained domestic dominance since winning the Serie A title in the 2021-22 season and are eager to return to competing regularly for major honours.
Should Glasner accept the position, it would represent the biggest challenge of his managerial career.
After beginning his coaching journey in Austria, Glasner enjoyed successful spells with LASK and Wolfsburg before leading Eintracht Frankfurt to Europa League glory in 2022.

His achievements at Palace further enhanced his reputation, transforming the club into genuine contenders and delivering multiple trophies during a memorable tenure in south London.
Speaking after his latest success with Palace, Glasner paid tribute to the players, staff and supporters who helped make the club's achievements possible.
"It means a lot," he said. "It's not just the badge. It's the people I'm working with.
"And it's the people, it's our fans. They're always so passionate supporting us and they're always sticking to us.
"Today, when it was a little bit difficult in the last 15 minutes, you could see players getting a bit fatigued.
"They went all in to support the players. The fans got louder and louder and louder. And this helped us again to get this win."
