Nottingham Forest made an embarrassing blunder whilst announcing manager Nuno Espirito Santo's contract extension on Saturday morning.
The club's official website statement mistakenly declared that the Portuguese manager had signed an "x-year deal" rather than specifying the actual duration.
The error appeared in the announcement on the Midlands club's website, which read: "The Forest Head Coach has been handed a new x-year deal by owner Evangelos Marinakis ahead of the 2025/26 campaign."
Sharp-eyed supporters quickly noticed the gaffe in what should have been a straightforward announcement.
The 51-year-old former Porto and Tottenham manager has actually agreed to a three-year extension at the City Ground.
Despite the website mishap, Nuno expressed his enthusiasm about extending his tenure with Forest. "I am delighted to be able to continue our journey at this fantastic football Club," he said.

He also acknowledged the backing from ownership. "I would like to thank our owner, Mr. Marinakis, for his constant support and backing. It is important to me to share a strong relationship with our ownership and we have thoroughly enjoyed working together ever since I arrived at Forest."
