Manager Adi Hutter addressed the chaotic situation, explaining that safety concerns made it impossible to continue the journey.
"For technical reasons, it was impossible to travel, as everyone's safety was not guaranteed," he revealed.
The Monaco boss confirmed the team would make the trip to Bruges the following day instead.
"That's why we decided, in agreement with Thiago Scuro, to postpone our trip," Hutter said.

Despite the disruption, Hutter remained upbeat about their chances.
He pointed out that Monaco had successfully travelled on match day before, referencing their recent trip to Auxerre, and insisted the squad would adapt professionally to the changed schedule.
