Mason Greenwood is reportedly 'obsessed' with the idea of playing for England again, with the forward currently shining in France with Marseille.
The forward moved to Ligue 1 back in the summer transfer window of 2024, having spent a year at Getafe on loan at Manchester United.
And Greenwood has been in remarkable form ever since, scoring 31 goals from 51 appearances while also establishing himself as one of the best players in the division.
It is five years since the forward made his sole England appearance, which came in a narrow victory over Iceland.

He was sent home in disgrace shortly afterwards, however, after breaching the country's strict coronavirus laws at the height of the 2020 pandemic.
In January 2022, Greenwood was arrested and later charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The charges were later dropped, however, enabling him to resume his career in football.
With Greenwood shining for Marseille nowadays, the Daily Mail say the forward has become 'obsessed' with the 'impossible dream' of representing England again.

He is eligible to play for Jamaica, with Steve McClaren's side on the verge of qualifying for next summer's World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Yet Greenwood has so far resisted the urge to switch allegiances because his England dream remains alive.
While that's the case, however, it's unlikely to happen.
Greenwood hasn't been in contention for selection for a number of years now. Manager Thomas Tuchel, speaking back in September, confirmed the 24-year-old wasn't in his thoughts.

"I have not spoken to him until now," he said at the time.
"I have not spoken to him or his camp.
"My understanding was that he tries to play for Jamaica so we didn't give it another thought.
"He was not in the mix at the moment and he is not in our thoughts for our team."
Jamaica boss McClaren, meanwhile, admitted he was still keen to have Greenwood on board - but that the former United star was stalling on a final decision.
He stated: "We acquired a passport and we expected him to be coming to this camp.

"He's taking his time over that, so it's a little bit disappointing.
"We probably have to be more patient, but we will keep the contact, we will keep pursuing him because I know from my conversations with Mason and his family that he loves Jamaica, respects Jamaica.
"He wants to concentrate on club football and not commit to an international team at the present moment.
"We have to respect that however much we've worked hard to get him here for these camps. So, who knows in the future."
Greenwood is currently enjoying some rest time, with Marseille next in action against Nice on November 21 (7.45pm).
They currently sit second in the Ligue 1 standings, two points behind reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain.
