Liverpool have announced the appointment of Andoni Iraola as the club's new manager.
The Spaniard has signed a two-year deal at Anfield and will take over from Arne Slot, who was sacked last weekend.
Iraola joins after a successful season with Bournemouth, guiding the Cherries to Europa League qualification.
The 43-year-old expressed enthusiasm upon signing with the Reds, saying: "[I'm] really excited.

| REUTERS"Obviously you know about Liverpool, you know that it's a big club, a massive club, one of the biggest in the world.
"But feeling inside and understanding a little bit more of this club, I always thought it's a special club.
"You don't need a lot of things to get attracted by Liverpool. Liverpool is Liverpool.
"But obviously the atmosphere, the supporters, the club, the players, the chance for me to coach top-level players, the chance to fight for titles.

"I think it cannot be more attractive than this. It's difficult to find it. So, really excited to start."
Iraola touched down in Merseyside this morning from San Sebastian on a private jet, landing at Liverpool John Lennon Airport at around 10.40am.
He stepped off the aircraft on the far side of the plane before being whisked away in a silver Mercedes.
Liverpool moved quickly to identify their preferred candidate, and negotiations proved straightforward given Iraola's free agent status.

| REUTERSIt is believed Iraola wants to bring assistants Tommy Elphick and Shaun Cooper, analyst Tom Webber, and fitness coach Pablo de la Torre with him to the club.
Liverpool are reportedly exploring options with the make-up of his backroom team.
Iraola's appointment comes after Slot was sacked from his position, after guiding Liverpool to glory in 2025.
Liverpool had backed Slot in last summer's transfer window, bringing in big names such as Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike.

Slot initially struck gold when he replaced Klopp two years ago, having been chosen ahead of former Reds midfielder Xabi Alonso.
Liverpool were nothing short of sensational as they won the league at the first time of asking, ahead of rivals Arsenal and Manchester City.
But this campaign, which saw the Reds finish fifth, was not enough for the board as Iraola is confirmed.
