There have been claims the France international has already agreed a summer switch to the Bernabeu

Real Madrid reportedly haven't already agreed a deal with Kylian Mbappe amid concerns over the forward's ego.

The LaLiga giants have been keen to acquire Mbappe for a number of years, with interest first dating back to his days in France with Monaco.

Real wanted to land the striker in 2017, only for Mbappe to choose PSG instead due to a determination to make history in his homeland.

And they were also denied Mbappe's signature in 2022, having believed he would move to the club that year.

On Sunday night, some reports suggested Mbappe had agreed to join Real at the end of the season.

That's when his contract is due to expire, with the 25-year-old free to talk with potential suitors.

According to Marca, however, no deal has been agreed that would take the 2018 World Cup winner to the Bernabeu.

It's said Real are actually worried about Mbappe's ego.

The Frenchman has developed an attitude during his six-and-a-half years in Paris that seemingly hasn't endeared him to all clubs.

Real are actively working on keeping squad harmony, something they currently have under Carlo Ancelotti.

Their 'strategy has evolved' and they 'seem to have moved past Mbappe' as a result.

Real are said to view any potential signing of Mbappe as a 'risk', especially with their current players happy at present.

Their priority is helping Endrick settle into life in Spain.

And they're also pursuing a deal for Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies, too.

Real think Mbappe will make a final decision on his future in the spring or summer.

And what ultimately happens remains to be seen.

Mbappe recently opened up on his future and said he was in no rush to decide what he'll do.

“First of all, I’m very, very, very motivated for this year. It’s very important," he said earlier this month.

“As I said, we’ve got titles to go after and we’ve already won one, so that’s already done.

"After that, no, I haven’t made up my mind yet.

“But in any case, with the agreement I made with the chairman [Nasser al-Khelaifi] this summer, it doesn’t matter what I decide.

“We managed to protect all parties and preserve the club’s serenity for the challenges ahead, which remains the most important thing.

"So we’ll say it’s secondary.”

Mbappe could start when PSG face off against Lens on January 14 (7.45pm).
