Jurgen Klopp has given his blessing for Arne Slot to take over as the next Liverpool manager.
The Feyenoord boss has emerged as the frontrunner to become Klopp's successor at Anfield.
Xabi Alonso was originally seen as the first-choice option before he announced his plans to stay at Bayer Leverkusen.
Ruben Amorim was then considered the next target, but Liverpool have since moved on to Slot with negotiations moving quickly.

The 45-year-old has admitted he wants the Anfield job and is 'confident' an agreement will be struck.
Klopp has now spoken out on the rumours linking Slot with the Anfield job and has heard good things about his potential successor.
"I'm not involved in the process, but I like a lot about it, if he is the one and wants to take the job," he said.
"I like the way his team plays football.
"All the things I hear about him as a guy - a good guy. Some people I know, know him.
"I don't know him, but some people who know him say he's a good guy. I like that a lot.
"So good coach, good guy. Looking forward for the club, if he is the solution, if he is the man, I am more than happy."
Klopp has just four games remaining as Liverpool manager before he walks away for good.

He's already secured his place in Anfield folklore in winning the Champions League and Premier League as well as multiple cups during his nine-year reign.
There's been plenty of ups and down with Liverpool recently seeing their title hopes take a huge dent with back-to-back defeats.
But Klopp doesn't think Slot should be put off by Liverpool's recent woes, insisting there is no other job like it in football.

He added: "Best job in the world. Best club in the world, and helps, obviously, with not finishing on a high, it looks like.
"Great job, great team, fantastic people.
"[Slot] 'would' [Klopp makes quote marks sign with his fingers] be taking a really interesting job."
