His Manchester City future is unknown after reportedly being left out of the Club World Cup squad

Jack Grealish has hit out at critics on social media after only playing seven league games this season.

Grealish is expected to be left out of the City squad for the Club World Cup in the US and bids will be reportedly considered for the 29-year-old if they arrive this summer.

The forward cost City £100m in 2021 but has not seen much playing time over the last two seasons at City; he was left out of the match-day squad for the 2-0 win on the final day of the season against Fulham.

Former Aston Villa team-mate Gabriel Agbonlahor accused Guardiola of making the situation “personal” despite the City boss insisting it was just a “selection” choice at the time.

Agbonlahor took his frustrations to social media after posting a video commenting on the City manager’s treatment of his player.

Grealish commented on the post saying, "What do you want me to do? Score a hatty [hat-trick] in 20 [minutes]?"

Grealish replied to the fan: "Haha, I've been bad lately? Scored 3 goals in my last 3 appearances over 45 mins but okie dokie love x"

"He needs to do it, and that's with us, or another place. And that's a question for Jack, his agent, and the club.

"If he stays it will be fine and he fought like he fought from day one to make a contribution, but not today."

Grealish is expected to be left out of the squad to play in the Club World Cup and is not part of the England squad for the upcoming games.
