David Beckham will finally achieve his life-long dream of receiving a knighthood after it was announced he was included in next week's King's Birthday Honours.
It will mean that the football legend will become Sir David Beckham, while wife Victoria will earn the title Lady Beckham.
Beckham has long been fancied for a knighthood, having managed 115 caps for England, going on to become their captain and also being well known after his career for his charity work.
Rumours ramped up in recent weeks that Golden Balls was set to be named on the King's honours list after he was seen with the royals at several public events.

That includes their most recent outing at the Chelsea flower show last month, where Beckham was pictured alongside Charles and Camilla.
But while might know about Beckham's life - from his time with Manchester United, Real Madrid and England - what are some things you might not have known about Becks?

1. Beckham's life was considered so interesting that Staffordshire University offered courses on the footballer's life.
The course, which has since been discontinued, largely stemmed from Beckham's disappointing 1998 World Cup which defined an era in England - even comparing it to the assassination of John F. Kennedy in the United States.
2. Beckham has his wife's name tattooed on him in Sanskrit. But there is a major error.
Instead of getting the name Victoria tattooed on him, it turns out the actual translation is 'Vihctoria'.
3. Everyone knows that Beckham's sons are called Brooklyn and Romeo, as well as Cruz.
But it might come as a surprise that singer Elton John is Brooklyn and Romeo's godfather - and Elizabeth Hurley is their godmother.
4. At the age of 11, Beckham hit top marks at the Bobby Charlton Soccer Schools National Skills competition, which earned him a trip to Barcelona.
It was here where a scout from United spotted the youngster, eventually leading to him joining the club - and the rest is history.
5. As a Londoner, Beckham's favourite meal is east London delicacy pie, mash and jellied eels.
However, during his time at Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, he could not find the food anywhere and had it specially shipped over.
6. Beckham suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and he needs everything to be in pairs.
He has admitted to moving furniture in hotel rooms until he can feel comfortable and throwing out things if needed.

7. What would Beckham have done had he not become a professional footballer? An artist, apparently.
The former England captain has admitted that he loved drawing cartoons as a kid and was something he seriously considered as a job.
8. Beckham suffers from a rare fear of birds, known as 'ornithophobia'.
That may come as a surprise considering he is covered in tattoos, some of which are birds including four behind his neck.

9. Both Beckham and wife Victoria share a passion for wine and as a surprise, the former footballer gifted his spouse her own winery in Napa.
Coming in at a significant cost, the winery is only open to close friends and family and closed to the public.
10. As well as several cameos in TV programmes including Only Fools and Horses and Modern Family, Beckham and director Guy Ritchie are close pals.
So much so, that he has appeared in two of his films - The Man from U.N.C.L.E (2015) and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017).
