Jack Grealish has been left 'devastated' after police confirmed they have closed the investigation into a £1million raid on his luxury home without identifying a single suspect.
The Manchester City winger, currently on loan at Everton, saw his £5.6m Cheshire mansion targeted in December 2023 while he was playing away at Goodison Park.
Thieves broke in as his partner Sasha Attwood and 10 members of his family were inside the property, stealing jewellery and watches worth around £1m before fleeing within minutes.
Despite what detectives described as a 'detailed investigation,' Cheshire Police revealed this week that they had no leads and were officially ending the case.

A source close to the couple told The Sun: “Jack and Sasha realised a long time ago they might never be caught.
"But the fact police have officially closed the investigation is still devastating for them.
“It means the gang are likely to get away with it and could strike others.”
The raid was one of the most high-profile burglaries in the North West in recent years, and security experts had suggested it bore the hallmarks of an organised professional gang.

The region has been a repeated target for burglary rings believed to have links to South America, with offenders reportedly operating from Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Peru.
Immediately after the break-in, police carried out 'exhaustive' local inquiries, combing the area for evidence and intelligence.
But despite months of work, investigators were unable to identify the culprits.
Confirming the closure of the case, Cheshire Police said: “Following a detailed investigation by detectives, this case has now been closed with no suspects identified.

"Should any information come to light, then it will be reviewed by officers.”
For Grealish and Attwood, both 29, the end of the investigation has brought little closure.
Family members described the night of the burglary as terrifying, with Sasha raising the alarm while the gang made their escape.
The England international later took to social media to express his relief that nobody had been harmed, writing: “This has been a traumatic experience for all of us, I’m just so grateful nobody was hurt.”

After the raid, Grealish joined Everton on loan this summer as part of his bid to rediscover form and regular minutes.
But off the pitch, the unsolved break-in remains a painful episode for both him and his family.
Grealish’s distressing experience is far from isolated. Crime experts emphasise that high-profile athletes have become prime targets for organised burglaries - often committed while the star is away playing.
The trend has been fuelled by oversharing on social media, which can inadvertently alert criminals to when homes are unoccupied.
