Harry Redknapp has sparked anger among local residents with his latest property venture in Poole, Dorset.
The 78-year-old former Premier League manager is seeking to tear down a £3m derelict house and construct nine flats in its place.
His property firm, Pierfront Developments, which he operates alongside wife Sandra, submitted an application to extend the previously approved scheme by adding a fourth floor.
The Branksome Park & Canford Cliffs Residents Association lodged formal objections, raising concerns about the impact on neighbouring properties' privacy and the overall character of the locality.

Despite the opposition, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole council granted approval for the development.
Planning documents indicate the upper apartments would be configured as duplex units spanning the third and fourth floors.
The residents' association expressed strong opposition to the additional storey, arguing it would fundamentally alter the approved scheme's height, mass and visual impact.
"Such an increase fundamentally changes the structure's relationship to its surroundings, affecting the character and potentially intruding on neighbouring properties' privacy," the group stated.
They warned the taller building would cast shadows over adjacent homes, reducing both privacy and natural light.
The association maintained that the existing approved plans were already appropriately scaled to match surrounding buildings.

"The addition would make the structure prominent within its streetscape, disrupting the balanced and consistent building forms in this area," they added.
The group argued the proposal lacked sufficient public benefit to warrant the increased scale and called for the council to reconsider.
Pure Town Planning, acting on behalf of Redknapp's company, defended the proposals in planning documents.
The firm stated the scheme "would not give rise to any materially harmful loss of light or shading towards the neighbouring dwellings".
While acknowledging the increased scale and mass, the planning consultants noted the building would not encroach any closer to boundary lines with neighbouring properties.
The council ultimately sided with the developers, with a BCP spokesman explaining the project would help meet local housing demand whilst delivering social benefits through nine additional homes.
The spokesman added the development would preserve the area's residential character without harming neighbours' amenities.

This nine-flat scheme represents just one of three developments Pierfront Developments currently has underway.
The company has also submitted plans for a five-bedroom house complete with detached garage and pool house on a separate plot, alongside a 16-flat block requiring demolition of an existing building.
Redknapp has faced similar neighbourhood disputes before. In 2023, he and Sandra obtained permission for an Italianate villa featuring Palladian-style columns and four balconies with harbour views, though neighbour Alison Wheeler objected it would be "overpowering" with a "major impact on our privacy".
The couple reside in a £5m Sandbanks property, having relocated there in 2021 seeking greater privacy.
