Allwyn, which operates The National Lottery, confirmed today that it has received a claim for the substantial prize from the November 1 2025, draw.
The deadline for the South Gloucestershire winner to come forward was midnight on Thursday.
The fortunate ticket-holder successfully matched five main numbers, 17, 18, 31, 36, 39 and 51, along with the Bonus Ball of 29.

This is not the first occasion a major National Lottery prize has been claimed in the South Gloucestershire area at the eleventh hour.
Back in 2014, James Wilson from Bradley Stoke, Bristol, discovered an old EuroMillions ticket whilst tidying out his wallet - just 24 hours before it was due to expire.
