Jude Bellingham appeared to show his frustration with an England teammate during the Three Lions' first training session in Florida as preparations for the World Cup gathered pace.
Thomas Tuchel's squad were put through their paces under the blazing American sun on Thursday, with temperatures and humidity providing an early taste of the conditions they could face during the tournament.
While the atmosphere around camp appeared overwhelmingly positive, one moment involving Bellingham has come to light.
The Real Madrid star, widely regarded as one of England's most influential players, was heavily involved throughout the session and once again demonstrated the authority he carries within the squad.
At one stage, Bellingham called for possession but appeared unimpressed by the quality of the pass that followed.
The Daily Mail noted the midfielder directing a side-eye glance towards the team-mate responsible, seemingly indicating that he expected the ball to arrive with greater pace.
The moment was brief but offered a glimpse into the standards the 22-year-old demands from both himself and those around him.
Bellingham looked sharp throughout the workout and was among the standout performers during England's opening session on American soil.

His father, Mark, was among a group of family members present at the session as England stepped up their preparations for the tournament.
Bellingham's importance to Tuchel's plans was also underlined by the release of England's squad numbers.

The veteran midfielder was heavily involved in organising drills and later explained the importance of what England have internally labelled "invisible work".
