Chelsea supremos are reportedly discussing Liam Rosenior's position in the wake of Tuesday night's dreadful 3-0 defeat to Brighton at the Amex Stadium.
The Blues lost their fifth game in a row, with the west London titans sunk via goals from Ferdi Kadioglu, Jack Hinshelwood and Danny Welbeck.
Rosenior was scathing in his post-match interview, with the Chelsea boss effectively accusing his players of not showing enough fight or determination as their hopes of European football next term suffered another blow.
Though only appointed as a replacement for Enzo Maresca in January, the 41-year-old's future is already shrouded in uncertainty.
And according to Sky Sports, Chelsea chiefs are discussing Rosenior and what to do next.
They hired the Englishman back in January having been impressed by his work in France with Strasbourg.
But results and performances have left much to be desired, with Chelsea currently unlikely to play in either the Champions League or Europa League next term.

Before last night's fixture, Chelsea had lost matches to Manchester United, Manchester City, Everton and Newcastle.
They were also dumped out of the Champions League last month, with Paris Saint-Germain winning their tie 8-2 on aggregate with victories home and away.

He had no answer for Chelsea's flat display against Brighton, however, with the Blues boss enraged by what he saw.
"That was unacceptable in every aspect of the game," he fumed. "I'm hurting and I feel numb.
"The attitude was unacceptable. I keep coming out and defending the players but that performance tonight is indefensible.
"The manner of the goals we conceded, the amount of duels that we lost, the lack of intensity in the team... something needs to change drastically here right now."
Rosenior also fronted up and accepted responsibility, acknowledging that it was on him to get the best from his players.
Brighton were superior in every department as they battered Chelsea | PAHe continued: "I am accountable, I've always said that, but after tonight, I think the players as well need to have a look in the mirror for what they put in. You can talk about tactics, tactics come after the basics.
"I can't keep coming out here and defending some of the things that we are seeing.
"Against Manchester United, the results weren't there but I felt like we'd turned a corner but the general attitude, spirit and determination was lacking, apart from maybe three or four of the 11. That is nowhere near enough for this club.
"It's nowhere near enough. I can't come out and lie. I'll come out and tell the truth and that was unacceptable in every area."
It's unclear if Rosenior will be Chelsea manager for their blockbuster FA Cup semi-final with Leeds on Sunday.
