Burnley fans have been left furious after Chelsea avoided what would have been an embarrassing moment.
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah touched the ball with his hand after the goalkeeper Robert Sanchez played a short pass from a goalkick.
Chalobah then proceeded to retake the set-piece.
Burnley players and fans argued that Sanchez had already begun play and as such appealed furiously for a penalty for Chalobah’s alleged handball.

Chelsea then went up the other end and scored the opener through Pedro Neto just minutes later.
Burnley supporters took to X to express their frustrations.
One wrote: "We clearly should have had a pen here. Robbed again by poor refereeing."
Another added: "Burnley been scammed there."

Tyrone Mings was penalised for a similar offence while playing for Aston Villa against Club Brugge in the Champions League last season, leading to sympathy for the home fans.
However, Arsenal star Gabriel got away with a similar incident in April 2024 during a Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
The Brazilian international picked the ball up to retake the goal-kick, leading Munich fans to appeal.
The Blues went on to win the clash 2-0, with Enzo Fernández netting the second.

The London side had been aiming to bounce back after a shock home defeat to Sunderland before the international break.
GB News spots editor, Jack Otway, highlighted Neto as a key player in the Chelsea side following the game.
In a post-match analysis, he wrote: "The former Wolves star, who moved to west London back in the summer transfer window of 2020, took his goal brilliantly and was the best player on the pitch.
"Had it not been for the woodwork, he would have doubled his side's advantage - with his effort cannoning off the post instead.
"No Palmer, no problem. Neto is starting to look the real deal and Chelsea will be hopeful he can continue to shine in the coming weeks ahead."
