Videos shared on social media appear to show individuals with dwarfism leaving Yamal’s mafia-themed celebration, raising serious concerns about possible exploitation of people with disabilities during the high-profile event, which hosted over 200 guests.
The backlash has been swift. The Spanish Association for People with Achondroplasia and Other Skeletal Dysplasia (ADEE) condemned the event and has threatened legal action.

|Meanwhile, Jesús Martín, Spain’s General Director of Disability, has urged ministers to authorize an official investigation.
Under Spanish law, using a person’s disability for entertainment or public display without consent can lead to significant penalties.

While Yamal has yet to publicly respond to either the romantic speculation or the ongoing investigation, the dual controversies mark a turbulent period for one of football’s most exciting young talents.
His Barcelona side will begin their LaLiga campaign with a match against Mallorca on August 16 (6.30pm).
