Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign Anthony Gordon, with an offer of £70million understood to be accepted by Newcastle.
Gordon is reportedly set to travel to Barcelona tomorrow for a medical and to sign his contract.
It is understood that the deal will be worth £60.6m initially, rounding up with add-ons worth £70m, reports Fabrizio Romano.
Newcastle were in talks with Bayern Munich, who had been in hot pursuit of the 25-year-old.
Bayern were understood to have agreed personal terms with Newcastle earlier this month, but no official agreement was made between the two sides.
Gordon has been an unused sub in Newcastle's last four games, as the Tyneside club prepares for him to move on.
The England international still has four years left on his contract extension, signed in October 2024, having moved to the Magpies from Everton.
Gordon has enhanced his reputation this season by scoring 17 goals in all competitions and cementing his status as one of the Premier League's most dangerous attacking players.

Any transfer fee could rise even further if Gordon impresses for England at this summer's World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Manager Eddie Howe previously declined to discuss the speculation in detail, but stressed that Gordon remains fully committed.
"I feel Anthony remains 100 per cent committed to the club," Howe said.
Gordon suffered a hip injury towards the back end of the season, seeing him miss defeats to Arsenal and Bournemouth.

Newcastle signed Gordon from Everton in January 2023 for around £40m.
Since then, he has developed into one of the club's most influential players and one of the most highly regarded English wingers in Europe.
Gordon is one of three players from Newcastle United to be picked for the squad, joining Dan Burn and Tino Livramento.

England will head to Florida in early June for a pre-World Cup training camp.
All of the Three Lions group stage games will be played in the US, which is hosting the tournament alongside Canada and Mexico.
