Jude Bellingham is heading for medical tests after injuring his shoulder during Real Madrid's draw with Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
The England international has been outstanding ever since moving to the club back in the summer.
Bellingham has netted 13 goals across all competitions for Los Blancos, with a brace against Barcelona at the end of last month particularly memorable.
His exploits for both club and country recently saw him win the Kopa Trophy, despite Lionel Messi - who won the Ballon d'Or - voting for two other players instead.

Bellingham was, however, unable to inspire Real to victory over Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night.
Carlo Ancelotti's side were held to a goalless draw and now trail Girona by two points at the top of the table as a result.
During the match, Bellingham experienced discomfort in his shoulder.
The 20-year-old had some treatment during the first half and, though he played on, lacked his usual sharpness as his side failed to win.
Bellingham was also seen with heavy strapping at full time.
And Madrid boss Ancelotti has now confirmed the youngster will have tests - though hopes he'll be available for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Braga.
"Bellingham has a problem with his shoulder and will have tests tomorrow [Monday]," he said after the result.
"It's affected him a bit, but he was able to continue.
"Hopefully, it's nothing serious and he'll hopefully be available for Wednesday [against Braga]."
Real will, however, be glad it's not an issue with Bellingham's knees.
The former Birmingham star suffered an injury in that area earlier this year which forced him to wear a knee brace.
And that same issue meant he was unable to start for Borussia Dortmund in their final match of last season's Bundesliga campaign.
Dortmund went into a match with Mainz knowing victory would see them finally end their wait for the crown.
But with Bellingham on the bench they could only draw 2-2 - with Bayern Munich then crowned champions instead.
Ancelotti, meanwhile, insisted his side would stay calm despite their failure to beat Vallecano.
"In the table we are doing very well, we're in the fight, we're doing very well in the Champions League," he said.
"There is no drama
"We're confident, we will do things well, like we always do, like we did today."
He added: "We're hurt by the result, not the performance, clearly it was a game we deserved to win.
"We tried in every way, and it didn't come off, we tried until the last second."
